This place is a hidden gem! The drinks were amazing! The bartender was so friendly! The music was great! The atmosphere was great! We need more spots like this! We didn’t get food but everyone’s food around us looked amazing! If you have not been, please get there now!
My wife and I visited this location on a hum bug. We had already eaten so I didn't order food. However, that didn't stop Meagan! She had the turkey ribs over rice with collards and mash potatoes. I tasted a little bit of everything and I must say it was scromdiliomptious! We also had daiquiris! She had the sour green apple and I had the Hulk smash. They were baby makin good! We are definitely going to return without a doubt!
Food was pretty good! Strong drinks. Friendly service. Music was way too loud for conversation.
This was my second time going here to eat. The first time the rice was cold but had good flavor and the drinks were great. This time the food was terrible, I asked for my pasta to have extra Alfredo sauce it came out soaked in oil/butter. The seafood rice was hard and had only 1 shrimp, barely no crawfish and no crab. The daiquiri were great once again.
The food was AMAZING as well as the drinks, BUT that service…..Yea I think you guys catch my drift… oh the music is on point ?If they work on the service I will recommend or come back.
Well, I hate to rate this way, but since I have had better experiences, I will add a star from the 1. I ordered the same exact fried shrimp basket I'd had a couple days before, and what I received was terrible. I wanted to send it back, but time did not permit. I ended up getting a to go box and never finished it. The day before went from large, perfectly fried shrimp to bite size, overcooked shrimp. Shrimp is a safety net, go-to. Like, who can mess that up, right?! Especially when it was already good once, I thought. WRONG! I don't like dining in inconsistent establishments. I like to know what I'm getting, especially if I frequent the place often. If there are different types of food cooked throughout different times of the day, that may help explain that. But, if that is the case, the servers need to be advised to advise the customers of such to avoid disappointment to us all. How do you think their tips are affected when a customer is disappointed?! I showed my Husband the food, and he said somebody was hating on me in there! It wasn't funny at the time, but I can laugh at it now. I haven't been back since honestly.
Someone here in Atlanta told me about this place. These drinks put me on my a** ??? yes you can take them to go which is what I did. Very delicious and strong
Nice atmosphere, great drinks. They were packed. They need 2 bartenders though. I didn't come to stay, just get a few daiquiri to go. I walked in and it took me 10 minutes to get the bartenders attention. I only achieved this because the guy sitting at the bar gave me his money for a shot and I waved it in her face. He had been waiting an hour to order the shot.
Nice, clean environment with great music. Food is good, customer service is A1. Authentic NOLA vibes.
