Deviled eggs were melting and the chicken on the Cobb salad was chicken from a can.
Food smelled and looked good but if I could have ever got anyone to ask what I wanted. Took 8 min to even get acknowledged I was even at the bar. If you can get past the staff inability to actually serve customers might be good food. I would have ordered food or another drink but I just couldn't do it as I watch multiple people get taken care of in my time waiting. All after I showed up. Such a shame, I had high hopes. Beer was cold though.
I sat at the bar and had drinks and barbecue. The barbecue (brisket with mac and cheese) was good, and the bartender was attentive. She kept my glass full and watched it when I had to walk away during a long layover. I can't ask for more in an airport bar!
good food…however a disappointing experience with a server who made my entire meal uncomfortable. I apologize if you did not hear me greet you and i acknowledge that it seemed rude. I have always had a problem with raising my voice and I know I have to work on that but you didn’t have act so rude and discriminate me afterwards. I did nothing but be polite to you afterwards. It was my first time at this establishment so I apologize for my cluelessness but please rather than embarrassing me, it would’ve been easier to just help me. How am I supposed to understand you when you just point at something? You could’ve just asked for my card.
This my 3rd time going and I love the food but the people have very nasty attitudes no one addressed me so I could order, after I ordered the bar tender was on her phone texting before She gave me my card back, they never have any bags. I won’t be going back for a while because customer service is everything & I today I did not experience good customer service.
Someone at the bar was surprised by the no cash policy. The bar person Cortez launched into a no one uses old rich white man long money anymore diatribe. The food is good but I can do without the attitude and racist social commentary.
I (a woman) just sat at the bar for several minutes while I watched the “bartender” take care of three men and make tea before she even acknowledged I was there. I asked if she had coffee made and she said that she had NO coffee which is specifically listed as a featured item on the menu. I ordered a beer since they had “NO coffee”. She ID’ed me, which is fine, but I only have my state issued digital license that I just used at two other restaurants and TSA (with additional security) accepted it. I am 44 and I look 40+. She first said that she didn’t “think” she could accept it and then said it was company policy (without asking anyone) after I told her that I had to use it all morning.I was a bartender/server for 15 years. Her bar had 3 guys that she was engaged with. It was more than obvious she didn’t want to wait on me to begin with. It’s fine. I’ll go pay airport prices somewhere else. She was working at 10am, 4/6/22. This employee should be trained on discrimination, customer service and company policies & procedures.
All else equal, let me say, this place SHINES in speed and service. I suspect I could sit at the bar, order the brisket, finish eating, and have the check ready to go in the time it takes to pick up a bagged burger at practically any other place at ATL.So, let's square away 99% of the complaints you see on here. Is the food the best you've ever had? Certainly not. Are the prices high? You bet. Folks, you're at a small airport restaurant. Do you really expect anything different?I have been here repeatedly in the last month or so. Seen the same quick as-a-laser lady or ladies running things up front, and had consistent, fast, no-nonsense service. That's getting pretty hard to find anywhere, especially at an airport. The brisket wasn't the best I've ever had, but it wasn't by any means terrible. If you need a quick meal, you could do far worse in terms of food options at ATL, and the folks working the counter know what they're doing. They likely won't have time to chat, but tip well. Let them know their efforts are appreciated. It's a rare, but welcome quality to see in food service these days. I'll certainly make my way to Concourse D next time I'm at ATL.
Food is ok, bartender is horrible. Has a bad attitude and seems to think he is over worked . It's tough filling barbecue tubs. ?
Cortez, Cortez, Cortez!! Absolute gem! Sat at the bar and had the best service I've ever had. Fast, friendly and went above and beyond to fix my drink. I will absolutely be back to Mustard Seed everytime I visit Atlanta just for Cortez! The gentlemen that was working with him was also on point in the dining area. Want a good drink, great service and conversation, go see Cortez at the Mustard Seed across from D26!
