After walking around in circles near Hurt Park I finally found this restaurant and I'm glad I did. It was delicious, freshly made and good prices. I had never tried hibachi until I got it. The worker seemed very kind and considerate. I will be back. Bonus it kept warm until I got home and I live near the airport.
I just got this food it is disgusting and not cooked all the way or season good enough this is definitely not a good hibachi place I will not recommend no one too go eat their what a waste of money??
I ordered here from Uber eats. I was impressed with how good the food was considering the price versus other hibachi places. Will be ordering again!
I’m on a mission to try all the local food places around the GSU campus and Mr. Hibachi is the latest stop on my adventures.\\nThe restaurant itself is a tightly set up space with bar style tables and chairs so there’s pretty much no chance to eat without having to sit near strangers. I saw another review say they immediately saw cockroaches when they opened the door but thankfully I didn’t see any pests on my visit.\\nThe food itself was indeed hibachi style food with choices of chicken, beef, or shrimp for most of the entrées and a small selection of side dishes. I ordered the Steak Hibachi with a side of fried shrimp and it was pretty good. I instantly knew what I was eating was hibachi but there wasn’t any sort of unique flavouring. It was just steak and steamed rice. Not bad but not Earth shatteringly good either.\\nThe staff are friendly though I think there might be a few communication issues here and there, I heard another person order something and they had to repeat it a few times because the cashier didn’t fully understand what they were saying.\\nOverall I’d give Mr. Hibachi a solid 8/10, I’d definitely come back if I wanted to eat something with rice on campus.
My son and I are on vacation and he said he wanted teriyaki chicken and fried rice. A quick Google search brought up Mr. Hibachi. I was a little worried when I walked in, it wasn't what I was expecting but nevertheless we ordered and waited maybe 10 minutes for our food. It was SO GOOD. My 6 year old is used to our signature home town hibachi but this was so good he loved it! Large quantity also. We ate half and had the rest for dinner. Definitely fulfilled our quick lunch needs.
I came and was immediately greeted by roaches upon opening the door. I brushed it off since I was starving and still placed an order in which was taken very rudely and took 45 minutes to get done. As if that all wasn’t bad enough I barely had any shrimp in my meal and was told “order double next time.” When I brought it up to the cashier. It’s not worth your time or money and there are some great hibachi places up the street.
Really long wait time despite 3 other people in there. The wait was about 20-30 minutes and the food was ok. I asked how long my order would take and they said under 5 minutes but took another 20 minutes.
Always fresh and great customer service.
Had a bento box, it was perfect for lunch not to much.
Tried the Mr. Hibachi food truck at House in the Park. Waited over 30 min because they had run out of stuff only they didn’t courteously mention that it would be a wait until after I had paid for the food. Got the chicken and the steak, both over cooked and way too salty with no other flavor. How can rice be over cooked and undercooked at the same time? They’ve figured that out. Everything tasted like soy sauce, super basic. Also charged an extra $5 to my card without saying so. I can’t stand paying that much for a food truck meal and the person serving the food is rude while they take your money. Overall left a bad taste in my mouth. Washed it down with a cup of $10 sugar water that had been sitting in the sun for hours. Didn’t help the bad taste.
