Well it had been years since I had been to the establishment and decided to give it another shot! Well it was an epic fail… I was told 35-45 wait, which was not a problem. The problem came when it became almost an hour and still NO food. Not to mention there were people who had ordered after me receiving their food. Oh and the kicker, if I had of known to slide the cook a little something to get my food, like I witnessed, I would have done the same to get my food faster! NEVA again!
This was my first time at this location so I order 3 things let just say I only ate 1 will start with the salad looks like who ever made it clearly don’t eat salad ?now the chicken rice bowl was good and last I had a steak Philly bread taste like it just. Came out the refrigerator and they just put steak and cheese on it I could of made it at home better
This is delicious! Ordered online and picked up for lunch. Hot and perfectly seasoned!
Wonderful little Soul Food restaurant (take out only) located off Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. They have an extensive menu of Soul food. The options are healthy and delicious! Beware of the prep time as they prepare you meal cooked to order so it may take 10 or more minutes ( even if you order online). The ladies taking your order are very friendly and accommodating.
Okay so first I want to start out saying the food is great. The portion size is great, they most definitely will give you your moneys worth. Although, you know with having a restaurant customer service plays a big part and that is most definitely something they need to work on! I came here on a Sunday around 1:15 pm, I ordered my food online around 12:43 pm & the estimated time that the food would be ready was around 20-30 min ( also payed already online). I get there mind you the lobby is so tiny it’s ridiculous, a group of 5 can barely fit at one time. The girl working on the register asked if I was ordering or picking up, of course I was picking up. She told me that the food wasn’t ready yet & it’ll be about 10 more minutes, cool no problem I can wait 10 minutes. Since it was a order of 7 items for me & co workers (still on the clock by way) I was being patient regardless of the fact it should’ve been ready upon arrival. 10 minute’s past….nothing, another guy that was working had told me it would be another 15 minutes on my order! Ummm sir I already been waiting 10 minutes + an additional 15 minutes is kind of irritating, when my food should have been ready when I got there. Cool, he offers me a free can soda for the extra wait time lol ?… I wait AGAIN. Another 20 minutes past & I still don’t have my food!!! Like really!! On average about 10 people got there order before mine, MIND YOU I PAYED ONLINE & WAS HERE BEFORE ANY OF THE PEOPLE THAT GOT THERE FOOD BEFORE ME !! I finally get my food after almost a whole HOUR!! I left the restaurant at 2:00pm …while they seem to not have a care in the world with no sense of urgency! Use to at least a 35 minute wait WITHOUT ordering online, and still never went threw this!!! Please do better.
Waited 30 minutes. Then told to wait another 20 minutes when we returned. They just have to clean the lobby up before I can recommend.
Amazing food! Went to have dinner for the first time! Tiffany was wonderful she help me decide what meal to choose from! She was so patient and kind! I will be back! ❤️
So first off let me say that then chef is extremely accommodating and kind. I have OCD and can only eat certain things in a particular way. The first initial interaction could’ve gone over better but he was pretty awesome about it and made me a new plate. The Salmon is perfectly seasoned. Don’t hesitate! The food is amazing and worth the wait. I definitely do recommend! Thank you so much!!
I love this food! If you are short on time don't bother ordering on the phone they not gonna make it until you get there and pay.
I wanted a Queens Gyro : The cashier reply we ain’t got no cucumber sauce. We ain’t got ! I know this location is in the inner city but do expect more professionalism from an establishment. Now I have to go an support a Greek establishment for cucumber sauce for a gyro because they never run out…
