Easily one of the best Japanese inspired restaurants I’ve been to! They offer a wide selection of ramen, curry dishes, poke, and more. I got Momonoki Tonkotsu ramen and it was one of the best bowls of ramen I’ve ever had and I can confidently say that every aspect of the bowl was done very well with the deep, porky broth, the slightly firm ramen noodles, the juicy chashu pork, and the perfectly seasoned egg. I also recommend the shiitake nuggets and pork katsu curry which were also both very delicious. They also have a cafe station where you can order desserts and specialty drinks. The employees were also very friendly and the place had a very chill ambiance. The prices of the food were a little steep but the quality can arguably justify it. Overall, I cannot recommend this place more and I am looking forward to trying what else they have to offer.
I love coming to momonoki!!! I've been here multiple times and it always satisfies. Today we got three sandos (pork cheese, beyond, shrimp), spicy miso tsukemen, and the pork yuzu shoyu ramen. All of it tasted amazing and full of flavor. The beyond sando tasted like a real cheeseburger. We also got the iced lemon coffee soda and it was so good!! Hard to describe the taste, but it was extremely refreshing. Also got a Mexican coke but it tasted a little off. When I ordered the pork cheese sando, I thought there would be more cheese inside like the online order form; when I asked the staff about it, they quickly offered to remake it for me and also gave us a free dessert due to the wait. The staff was SO NICE and helpful! Really made the experience amazing. There is indoor and covered outdoor seating available. There is a parking garage next door and the restaurant validates for 2 hours free parking.
Great food, staff , pastries and cocktails! The atmosphere is cute and laid back . Great place to study , dine in or bring out of town guest ! Such a gem ?!
10/10 for presentation no question. The food was very good. The grain bowl had some kind of sweet gel on it that made the lettuce slightly sweet, I know not everyone is a fan of that.I ordered the medium spice Spicy Ramen with pork. Pretty good, except for the occasional whole peppercorn/some spice I would eat. Pork has fat on it so it has a soft but nice chewy texture.Honestly the only real thing that could be improved is the water. We were sitting outside and the jug wasn’t empty but you had to tilt it and position it weirdly to get water.
Bomb dot com! You place the order on your phone by scanning the QR code to get to the site. Lots of customisation available. The servers were really nice and helpful. I would definitely go back again if I had the time.
Update: Staff apologized for the ramen, said that they're working on refining the recipe, refunded the ramen, and offered me another to replace it. I was really refreshed to see the situation get completely owned like that. Great service recovery, so I've updated the review score to reflect that.Great location and cute interior, but I got absolutely the most unremarkable bowl of ramen I've ever had. I had the Chicken Yuzu and it contained sliced, completely unseasoned white chicken breast. The tofu was also totally unseasoned. It's like all of the ingredients were just tossed in the bowl absent-mindedly.
Great place super fresh food Cool little place
I had XL tonkotsu and it tasted terrible!!! First it was not seasoned at all and it contained huge amount of red peppercorn(This was NOT MENTIONED IN THE MENU) so I was very confused if I was having the ramen or some kind of weird soup that I had never tasted!!! If you ask me if I am going to visit this place again.. NO NO NO !! I felt terrible having a stuffed stomach with horrible tasting food !!
Momonoki (translated Peachtree from Japanese) is a new Japanese cafe on 8th Street in Midtown from the founders of Brush Sushi Izakaya in Decatur. The cafe invites you to choose your own seating and order via mobile menu from an extensive list of casual Japanese comfort food. The current draw is the cafe’s selection of Japanese sandwiches (Sandos) a convenience store staple in Japan that is impossible to find in Atlanta. Best Ramen in ATL so far! Great service, awesome portion, FLAVORFUL ramen, it has the perfect kick to each plate. Wonderful choices for everyone (vegan, vegetarian, omnivore, gluten free). The Old Fashions were FANTASTIC. They have a full diverse brunch menu.
