Visiting from Austin, Texas. This food was good. Came for brunch. We had lamb and grits, shrimp and grits, and big chic (eggs chicken tenders and buscuits).. The server and hostess was helpful. I would recommend this place for good food. They actually season the tenders. Kudos.
Had a great experience here. They were busy but our server was attentive to our large party. Note that you may not be able to sit together but they worked to get us all in the same section. Food was delicious!
The food was great and our server Nicole was so amazing! If you can’t eat in I would surely suggest you order take out. The Salmon and grits were to die for.
Service was great, food was a joke no timing in kitchen Had 3 bites and I laughed @ my tacky plate that looks like it came from Golden Corral. We had something simple waffle & chic tenders. Batter mix jst not hittin & tenders had seasoning but to damn dry they were nice and chunky too. Seafood Hash brown …. Some might like but for me, so unpleasant. Oh & last the 3 slices of fried green tomatoes needs love.
Well unfortunately I’ve gotta bad review for this one as I was just not pleased and the food didn’t live up to the hype. I had the trout with a cup of “seasoned” lobster, fried green tomatoes, the “key lime” waffle, and my sister had the chicken fingers with 2 sides(grits & fries). The lobster was bland and do was the fish. No recipe no real seasoning blend that offered real flavor to my taste pallet. The tomatoes were heavily battered….like overly…like the most I’ve ever had in my life. I had to peel most of it off just to avoid eating unnecessary amounts of corn meal. The waffle was soggy and tasted nothing like key lime-just food coloring. My sister hated the grits and her fries were soggy with grease. She did enjoy the chicken. I did enjoy the atmosphere, some of the friendly faces that served there, and the prices seemed fair bumping it up to 2 stars. Overrated
Fantastic food! The portions are well worth it, the price is fair, the customer service is genuinely amazing, and the taste? One of the best brunch spots I've visited in a while. I highly recommend this place and make sure you ask for Docia, she was the highlight of our visit.
Da South Got sumthin 2Say!!!Milk and Honey is the first restaurant we decided to go to first! We are starting. New food blog and realized why not start here on Cascade! Excellent choice! There is some changes due to Covid like the way you order your food! FYI! They were a little busy at this location but I understand why!! The food is delicious ? We started out with the mimosas! They were ok! I really wish the drink temperature was cooler. They definitely made up for it with the food! The food IS AMAZING ? ?. The Buffalo chicken Spinach Dip was soooo good! Please Try it! You will not be disappointed!! Crab cakes and grits! All I can say is those Grits were made with love ❤️ ❤️
The worst first time experience for me! I tried calling in my order over the phone but had me on hold for 10+ min so I hung up. This place actually had good reviews overall so I didn't mind waiting for my food and just gave them the benefit of the doubt. first thing I realized were the long lines because the people dining in were also placing orders up front. Second thing I noticed was that I was charged for gratuity when I ordered my food to-go on top of the tip that I gave. I ordered the smothered chicken and biscuit and they had the audacity to give me burnt and dried out biscuits! You can definitely see it in the picture that I'm not exaggerating. Will not be returning to this place on Cascade!
I ate at this location for the first time today. I had the south side, scrambled cheese eggs, and potatoes. The southside was good, but it was drowned in the grits. It would have been better separate. The eggs were decent, but the potatoes were hard, cold, and tasted old. My friend had the Who DAT lobster gumbo. She said it was good... The service was great, and food came out fast. I will definitely go back....
Very limited seating. They automatically charge gratuity. Everything is in to-go containers. We chose to dine in . The other patrons were really loud so it wasn't a great brunch experience. The surf and turf burger was very good. All the food was hot. The staff was friendly.
