If I could leave zero stars, I would have. This place will turn you away for their absolutely ridiculous dress code. I have been to dozens and dozens of restaurants in Atlanta and have never experienced being turned away from a reservation. My friend had on a sports coat, Versace shirt and $300 jeans with 4 tiny decorative tears in them and the manager would not seat us because he said the jeans violated their dress code! Iâm talking the littlest rips in these jeans. Not the whole knee ripped open like you see. We had to quickly figure out somewhere else to go and it was raining. The manager was completely rude, no exceptions, nothing. This place doesnât even scream upscale as itâs in a shopping center. Choose somewhere else to spend your money.

Good food great service consistent
This was our first time dining at McKendrickâs and it did not disappoint! All of the staff was extremely friendly, professional, and helpful! Our waiter, Mark, was knowledgeable about the menu and provided great suggestions. Several staff members wished us a happy anniversary and they gave us a free chocolate cake to celebrate, which was very nice. The food was outstanding! We started out with the calamari, which was very tasty! I got the grilled halibut and it was so good, I didnât even need the sauce that came with it (glad it was put on the side). My husbandâs filet was cooked perfectly and delicious! And the lobster mac & cheese was divine! The only thing that fell short was the brussel sprouts; Iâve had much better. Next time Iâll try asparagus or spinach instead, as we will definitely come back here. This is a great restaurant to celebrate our anniversary!
Food and service was great!
My reservation was at 8:45 PM I got a call from the manager at 7:50 PM saying that his kitchen closes at 8:45 PM and that I needed to get there earlier. I live 45 minutes away so we had to rush out of the house to Arrive 5 to 10 minutes earlier. The service was excellent from the servers. But the manager who called me to tell me that heâs giving me a courtesy call that I need to arrive earlier than my reservation time was very rude.

Service and timing of the reservations was very pleasing.
The steak was great and the shrimp portions were nice sized. The wedge salad was a little messy and the dressing runny, tasted good though.
