I was in the city visiting and stopped by Marlow's for a quick bite to eat. The service was fast, the restaurant was clean... and the food was perfect. Probably one of the best burgers I've had in a while. The Prime Dip sandwich was also very good.
Our waiter was very pleasant. They ran out of peach flavoring to make peach margaritas. I tried the Blackberry Mojito ($9.50) and it was not my favorite. I asked for an Angry Orchard and a Strongbow - which they were both out of! Not cool, so I ended up drinking Sprite.The drink menu is real basic. There is around 8 cocktails available.The dinner menu has burgers, salads and finger food. The Firecracker Shrimp is really good and costs ($13). I ordered Fish Tacos as my entrée. My husband ordered Shrimp n Grits and it was not his favorite. My kids had mac n cheese with asparagus.
Slow service! Didn’t listen to our orders! Food was good! But no one came back to check on you, good came out wrong, if you have a good allergy ask what is in everything. Wouldn’t go back
Staying at a nearby hotel. Ate here for lunch on a Friday. Damir (sp) was our server and was excellent. Knowledgeable on the menu, and cared that we had a good experience. Grouper sandwich was fantastic. Full of flavor. Burger was great. Fries were great. Good atmosphere with TVs everywhere.
I was expecting to find this place corporate and sterile, but they do as good of a job as they can with that. Cleanest smelling bar ever. Seven beers on draft. Loyalty club.Seasonal special shrimp/crawfish poboy: 10/10. A dinner portion truly too big to safely sandwich; ate as open-face. The shrimp is great, the baguette has flavor, the tomatoes and slaw are crispy and flavorful, even in the middle of winter. The kitchen cares here. I will return.
Good was awesome. The waitress was helpful and knew every item on the menu! That was a wow in a good way!
Bar food may sound not too enticing. In fact nothing in the menu seemed particularly special yet the ratings were very high and decided to give it a try. Wow. We ordered grits and shrimp, truffle fries, fish and French dip sandwich and all of them were great !! Service was excellent. They don’t take reservations so be there early especially on busy weekends.
Went here for a work lunch during the weekend. We sat at a booth and had great service. There is parking in the deck for free.I had the poke and loved it. The grapefruit drink was also really good. Nice coffee. We also shared the potato chips with gorgonzola cheese.
My son and I enjoyed out dinner ? while in town. The attached is hip and our waiter was great
We hadn’t been to Marlow’s since before the pandemic, and I’m glad we’re back at it. The grouper sandwich and the French dip were both excellent. The service was as friendly as always.
