Hard to find! Need to advertise location better. Staff friendly, and like any other Jamaican place the service is slow. The food was very good just need to cut back on salt. The oxtails were the best I had in Atlanta, just need to be less salted. The owner seem nice. Also belly full is small.
Ordered a Brown Stew Chicken meal. Seems only available on Fridays. Plantains were good. Not too oily and plenty sweet. Cabbage was excellent...good bit of flavor and not treated as something just to fill space on your plate which I appreciated. Seems maybe a hint of coconut or coconut butter in it. Rice was solid. Good texture, grainy as I prefer it. So why only 3 stars you ask. Well the chicken was WAY too salty; to the point where it was borderline inedible. This is coming from a person that has definitely been told that I like my fair share of salt. So would I be back? Maybe give em one more chance but I sure wouldn't order the brown stew again.
The food was impeccable! My kids and I loved the macaroni and cheese. My son said it’s a 10 out of 10! We’ll definitely be coming back! Very nice atmosphere and persona :)
We ate here after visiting the zoo and everything was so good!Everything was hot, fresh, and homemade. The service was great also! The owner was so sweet and brought everything out to us. She made several of the items fresh for us as she was running low on some things and I definitely appreciated that!Unfortunately, we don't have any pictures because we cleaned our plates super fast, but we will definitely return on our next Atlanta visit!
The Food was SOOOOOOO FIRE I didn’t get a chance to take a picture because I was ready to eat it. I have found my favorite Jamaican spot in Atlanta. Being a REAL JAMAICAN THIS IS REAL JAMAICAN FOOD. You can tell it was made with LOVE. I ordered it online and it was ready when I got there. The owner and staff was very nice and welcoming. I will be back THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
I absolutely love this place! Closest thing to my mothers cooking I have came across. Great service and great atmosphere. Great and genuine staff! Ever meal I have purchased has been absolutely perfect! Hands down the best.
This wonderful place was recommended by a reliable source. It surpassed my expectations. I got the fried red snapper w/ cabbage, beans and rice and the best plantains I have ever tasted. I went there on Sunday and I can hardly wait to go back on Thursday. Please, please, please continue to season and serve the fish like it was cooked on Sunday. Thanks Marguerite
Marguerites Jerk Bistro has the best Jamaican food in Atlanta. We especially love the Oxtail which is beautifully braised and fall off the bone delicious. Marguerites recipes are all authentic that she learned from her grandmother. Located in The Beacon just off of Grant street in Grant Park it is one of our favourites. Come check it out - you won’t be disappointed!
Owner is most definitely a sweetheart. Food wasn’t warm but looked delicious and Im sure if it hot I would of enjoyed it even more.
Deliciously cooked with love. The best Jamaican cuisine in Atlanta.
