I was really excited to try this place, my usual breakfast spot was close so me and my fried came here. The food was ok, the hospitality was good. I got the fried chicken biscuit with shiitake gravy and fried egg. The fried chicken was TOUGH. The gravy and fried egg was good but the fried chicken was bad. I would come and try it again but it’s not first on my list. I should’ve asked for them to give me another piece of chicken idk . My friend said his food was a 6/10. I rate my food 7/10.
You cannot have your Patreons eating at dirty tables! This is unheard of. I was there for an hour and not one staff member cleaned one table. Old plates, syrup drippings, crumbs, juice spills, etc. Paying customers who keep you in business should not have to eat in the previous customers mess.
Great place for a quick homemade breakfast! Loved the sweet and spur sauce with the goat cheese! Great combo. The chicken was cooked perfectly. I prefer a more softer biscuit. The inside was soft but the outside was more crunchy which made some outside parts of the biscuits taste more dry. I also ordered the potatoes o'ryan and didn't care for it. Didn't have much cheese and toppings. Lots of egg and dry potatoes. We passed it along to a buddy who enjoyed it. Overall enjoyed my food.
So I’m on my way to the Georgia Aquarium with my daughter, who is 17 at the moment and if you have a teen, you already know.We came in for breakfast at Maple Street Biscuit company, I like Maple Syrup and Biscuits, figured this would be a hit.Well….. it is! Except for the wait.Staff is friendly but nothing memorable.Food was great, order a chicken biscuit and waffles. Also got a dessert of sugar glazed biscuit which were on point! We had a fresh OJ and maple syrup latte, which tasted pretty good, Starbucks level though, not boutique style coffee but definitely worth it.Overall, biscuits were really good. I would definitely come back and try the rest of the menu.4 stars instead of 5 is because of the wait, about 40 mins. The inefficiencies in processes is holding this place back.
The first and second time I came it was phenomenal! The 3rd time, I ended up with sausage gravey ans pork on my sandwich when I told them no pork and shitake gravy. They refunded my entire meal. This fourth time was the ABSOLUTE WORSE. I waited over an hour for my correct order. However when I left a couple had been waiting almost 2 hours. My first prder came out, plain gracey and bacon on my sandwich. The girl tried to tell me that the piece of bacon on my sandwich was a mushroom. The seond time, my order was called back but never made. They refunded it and still gave me my "correct" order WITH BACON ON IT. The gravey waa correct but it wasn't good and it waa greasy. My orange juice wasnt fresh because the same girl claimed she had called my order, but she didn't. I had litterally left the counter and stood by the wall when she put the drinks on the counter and began having a conversation with a coworker. My order was never called for the oj and I watched her put it under the cabinet. If you all are going to call out orders get an intercom. Oh see my sandwich below which is now trash because I'm allergic to bacon and this GREASAVYOh and someone thought it a savvy idea to pass out cinnamon biscuits to people already esting. Meanwhile back in line people had to be refunded for cinnamon biscuits because they ran out. I MAY come back for the orange juice because it's fire WHEN FRESH.
Nothing better than a big ‘ol biscuit smothered in gravy topped with fried chicken, bacon, and a perfect runny egg. Great midtown Atlanta Sunday brunch spot. Friendly staff too!
The wait time in line was terrible. The cashier seem like he didn't want to be at work. The wait time for your food was 30-55min or longer. Noticed one lady waiting 30min for her order. The lady that calls out the order has an attitude.
Cold food. Staff doesn’t care. Terrible.
This was my first time here. I had passed it many times and finally made it to visit. I had the Extreme B&G which was very very good!! Everything tasted fresh to order. My daughter ordered the BAM! Waffles and we had the maple pepper bacon. The bacon had way more pepper than maple and needed a little more of a balance. Pepper was to overpowering. Other than that it was a great experience! The Ambassador that assisted us was Brinn and she was very sweet and professional! We will definitely be back!
I have drive by this spot plenty of times and finally decided to try it. I placed a order for the maple latte and the extreme b&g. Both were amazing. The latte was perfect. I enjoyed the maple and hints of vanilla. The b&g was even better. The biscuits were very buttery and fluffy. Don't get me started with the maple sausage. After taking a bite, it toke me back to my childhood, taking those long country trips to see my grandma. If your in the city of Atlanta, I would highly recommend trying this place!
