I see all of these bad reviews on service. I got to say I love my sushi and I’ve been in the restaurant business for some 30 years. My wife and I go every other day. We treat the order taker with respect and we have never had an issue. The sushi is worth it, no matter about service. Their quick, good and maybe sassy but your in and out with amazing food.

Great food, horrible service. Spent over $50 to have my food placed in togo boxes, charged for every little thing and anytime we asked for something they acted as if it was an issue. Customer service definitely makes this place somewhere I will never visit again!

Service wasn’t great, not the servers fault bc they seemed understaffed. Took awhile to get drinks, they entirely forgot the miso soup we ordered as an app.We got the calamari, definitely seems like it was frozen and not fresh. Beyond that it was over fried. No tentacles either so they definitely don’t prepare it fresh, just rings from prepackaged tubes of the squid.The sushi I am not at all convinced was fresh. We got the chefs combo platter. The yellowtail was slightly tough, like it was still thawing. I asked for omakase for the roll as well, which is Japanese for chefs choice, and the server was dumbfounded by that request. Not a good sign for a sushi place.Rusans is half the price and better and they’ve failed health grades multiple times.Food was really mediocre and I can’t stress that enough, especially for the price point. Frozen fish by people who do not know sushi.Surprised i don’t have food poisoning. It’s almost criminal to charge as much as they do for frozen and not fresh fish

We decided to sit at the bar for stone bowls. After we spent $60 on two bowls and drinks, we were then told we could no longer sit at the bar because it was too crowded, AFTER they had taken our order, while very clearly sitting at the bar. They told us they would put stone bowls in a plastic togo container (what???). That totally takes away the aspect of a stone bowl. We asked for a refund, the cashier decided to argue with us. The cashier couldn’t figure out how to give us a refund to our card, and decided to give us cash. Will not be returning, and have been here no less than 10 times in the past.

The one star is simply for the guy who takes the orders. He needs to be fired. He literally told potential customers “F you” as they left- in front of me as I was eating. They sat at the bar not knowing to order at the register. He could have easily said “you all need to order here” but didn’t. Outrageously bad worker.I was thinking before that happened that the guy is not friendly. And then the cursing at customers happened. Your establishment will not last with that BS going on. It’s shame because the sushi was great.Response to owner: You have to know who this guy is. He's Hispanic and has had several issues based on the others reviews I'm seeing. People will work if you pay them enough. This guy isn't worth losing business over. Good luck.

The worst customer service ever!!! The female waitressnever refilled the water or asked if we needed anything after bringing out the food. Waited 30 plus minutes to get someones attention to order more food. Then the island sushi roll was soggy and tasted like old fish. Definitely not coming here again. Grocery store sushi is better than this ish.

So yummy!! I had the galbi stone bowl and it was so filling. Big portions too. Highly recommend and cannot wait to try the sushi next time. :) Glad I finally tried this place.

Absolutely poor service from cashier / waitress who sees me sitting 3 feet from her on the stool. She allows three patrons who came after me to order. i’m clearly seated, wave at her place, and she chooses to ignore me. Unfortunately, this treatment is taught, and it feels particularly familiar as I have had service this poor as I am Ordering While Black (OWB). Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable behavior in the current day and age we’re living in. No apology necessary, they won’t change. So no more patronage from me.
