Extremely slow, over 30 minutes for mac and cheese. Was greeted with attitude when we asked for an update. The food itself was fine.
I went to the Mac queen food truck today, may I say most excellent service Mac and cheese is very creamy. I had a bomb
This Food Outrageous And Totally Recommend Next Time Yall Come To Atlanta
Just wow! MacQueenATL came to the Castleberry Farmers Market Monday and we were thrilled! the food is delicious! My daughter is lactose intolerant and just loved the vegan offering. Those Fried Mac and Cheese balls are spectacular! We are so excited to have them back at our market June 6.
Be prepared to wait over an hour for your food! Went to a festival and waited over 2 hours for Mac n cheese!
I wanted to give it a try. Service was a bit slow which I wasn’t too worried about but the food was a disappointment. Certainly not worth the price that’s for sure.
Yes, yes, yes! I visited this food truck yesterday because it's near the car wash I go to and I always see it, but it's typically closed when I'm getting a car wash.I ordered the Queens Mac meal which comes with the 5 cheese macaroni and cheese (there is a vegan option as well, and a fried macaroni option). Then you pick your protein: fried cauliflower, mini crab cakes, fried chicken, or lamb chops (these are an extra charge). I opted for the chicken which was fried to perfection and seasoned so so well. There are two additional sides that come with the meal (collards and baked beans). The baked beans are to die for and they're vegan. The collards are a bit on the salty side.Parking is free, as you can park at the gas station or in front of the food truck.I will absolutely be back to visit!
Upon walking up, there were several people standing outside waiting on orders. I ordered and then after paying had been told it takes 18-20min for the order...Not at all what I expected from a food truck, but I stood and waited. I thought it would come a little faster considering it was a food truck. It took over 25min to get my order. $12 dollars for a single half filled pan of Mac and cheese, $22 if you want shrimp on top. They serve vegan Mac & cheese and fried mac & cheese balls. Service was great but Food was very underwhelming in my opinion.
Best fried Mac on the planet, amazing crab cakes, delicious lamb lollipops and the sweetest most kind woman you'll ever meet. We need more like Mac Queen.
