Food is top notch! Staff very friendly and attentive! You can't go wrong here! One of the best places in the entire Battery!
Low rating because they don't validate parking on non-game days, nor on days when there's special events at the Roxy. How do they expect to have repeat customers if this is something that they can't offer? Certainly a downside when picking from one of the many restaurants at The Battery, when the others in the vicinity offer parking validation. Yes, our bill was over $50, it wasn't too difficult to achieve that with the food and drinks.Aside from that, the service was great. Food came out hot and fresh. Taste was good, happy with that aspect. Large drink menu, and several beer options. Lots of TVs, plenty to see from any angle that you are sitting.Fish and chips entree was literally one large piece of fish siting on a pile of fries. For the price of the entree at $20, I would've expected at least two pieces of fish. Still hungry after eating it, but was hot and flaky.Irish dip, really good portion and something to get if you have a big appetite. This one was satisfying!I would like to go back, but probably will end up at another restaurant there that validates parking on non-game days.
This is a great place to meet friends and enjoy the best food and drinks at the battery. Living at the battery has its perks but none better than the friendly faces at McGee's. Ask for the Shepherd's Pie and grab a Guinness you will not be disappointed.
Who decided to close at 11:00 on a game Saturday when Flogging Molly is playing at the Roxy? I spoke with a server about being back after the show so they knew a very popular Irish band was playing….At least 150 very thirsty people stood at the locked doors in disbelief as the staff sat there counting their tips….Needs better management…
We came here before a Braves game and had an excellent experience. Delicious food, great beer on tap, fun and fitting music, and a welcoming environment. We met the manager, Fred, and he was wonderful. We will be back.
Draughts are great, the rest not bad. Killer Dirty Hippy. We ate the basics, bangers and also fish and chips, good enough. Very nice service, again.
First visit and it was great. Abby took great care of us and we had a good time on an otherwise quite day. The food was very good and reasonable for the portion. I had fish and chips, my wife had a scotch egg, both were more than what we expected. Will definitely be back, they has Premier League on, will be back for games!
Painfully slow service, great foodBoth visits of ours service have been extremely slow. The last time took so long to have anyone ask us for our order that we just walked out.Servers seem to be more concerned with clearing tables than ever taking orders. But if you can manage to wait long enough to get food, at least it tastes good
Bartender made the wrong drink then yelled at us to pay for it.
