Came here on a Saturday night for a birthday dinner. We were promptly seated at our 6pm reservation. Ordered the VIP sashimi and boy are we glad we did! It came with a crazy amount of side courses (see photos) and it was all good! I recommend this place for a special occasion or even a weekday lunch. Since 1970!
Purely food based review:Rainbow Roll Pretty decent, fresher tasting than at cheaper sushi places.Dragon Eel - one of my favorites, definitely recommend if you like Eel rollsSpicy Tuna Sandwich - cut into cute triangles with lots of spicy tuna in an almost onigiri form. Not super spicy but a cool take!Shrimp Tempura Don - really good, crunchy tempera! Laid onto a bed of egg and rice covered with delicious sauce. Highly recommended!Overall if you're a fan of sushi, this is a solid spot to try their various rolls in an awesome presentation!
Best Japanese food I’ve found in the Atlanta area. Quality and care made with each dish. The staff are lovely and make you feel welcome and at home. Highly recommend if your looking for good sushi and a larger Japanese menu
Kang Nam serves Japanese and Korean food.I tried their dinner special and it was about 40$ and it was enough food for two meals. My favorite part was the pumpkin soup, slightly sweet for my taste but I still enjoyed it. The sushi and sides tasted fresh. Overall, it’s a cozy and efficient restaurant.FYI: if you plan on having a meal here during a holiday, be sure to make your reservation. They’re small and the wait can be long.
We stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for a sushi place around the market area. They were kind enough to take my reservation literally 30 minutes before they closed after lunch. We were sat in a private booth which was great. The sushi and the appetizers were great. We also had saki which was good. Hospitality could improve but could have been strained because they were closing after lunch to prepare for dinner. Highly recommended ?
I have been here twice now and the food is simply amazing!!! The fish has to be the most fresh that I have tasted in Atlanta. It was absolutely delicious. Moreover, the staff were super friendly and kind. The chef came out himself with our sashimi platter and gave us a quick description. The atmosphere was also so pleasant. Definitely coming back here again and again. Recommend 10/10
I love this place!!! They are so sweet and polite. Every customer that left from eating there got a big "THANK YOUUU" as they left out the front door hehe. The sushi was delicious! We got the dragon roll & the fried Philly roll. Very very yummy! There's a lot on the menu to try so we shall be back :)
Awesome place to get sushi. The sushi was good quality and delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. I recommend coming here if you are craving sushi.
My friends and I tried to come here over the weekend but didn’t have reservations so we were refused since they were completely booked. My husband and I made another attempt to dine here during the week and it was phenomenal! We were seated in their private booth. The sushi tasted fresh and service was great. Love their hand rolls (made to order if requested)! We’ll be back
They are very busy during the weekends so make sure you make your reservation in advance.My first time here and I got the sashimi combo for 2. Everything was very very fresh and high quality. It came with different kinds of sashimi, including lobster, stir fry calamari, salad and soup. It was such a big portion for two for just $80 if I’m not mistaken. The atmostphere was very cozy for a dinner or family outing. Staff was friendly too. As a picky sashimi fan, I would say this place went beyond my expectations.
