Went here with a bunch of friends on a Saturday night ready to dance! We started out with dinner which was fine just your typical bar food. Drinks for the most part were pretty strong which we appreciated. Our service all around was great so for them I’d give 5 stars:) The DJ however was miserable and killed our vibe. We politely asked for more upbeat dance songs that were more current and boy he did not like that request at all! One song request was whomp there it is and he said we don’t play that $hit! Told me no ghetto rap or something like that. How flipping rude! I’d say for the most part the music was 70’s-90’s era stuff. Mostly the older genre unfortunately. If that’s your thing you’ll love it here just not enough uptempo songs for our 40ish crowd.

First timer and I loved it!!!! So different than what I was used to but i had a blast. The energy was good. Music, people, and food was perfect. Cannot wait to go again. Talked to a lot of different people who all just wanted to have a good night.

Celebrated my Fathers 91st Birthday in the only place he wanted to be, "The Hideaway "! I had the most amazing time! First time going but Wow wow wow! By the way, my Dad danced allllll night! The DJ has the amazing ability to transport you through time with his turntable everything, from Elvis to Journey! I thought to myself " This Dj is just going to far, he said " There's no such place"?? Awesome mixologist behind the bar, just absolutely incredible, especially the entire Wedding party that came in, Bride in full regalia, just???????? Come to Atlanta, drop in and fall in love! ( There is a line after around 9pm, so get there early and if people will line up for it, there's is fun to be had)

A must see place when visiting Atlanta! great atmosphere and even better music. They play a wide range of music and the drinks are reasonably priced.

To crowded. Drunk women falling in front of me while I am sitting at bar tried to help her up and then she almost fell in my lap!!! Then fight broke out with some guys banged into the lady that fell and came toward me and my Husband I was about to kick my foot out and push them over but I didn't want anyone else to get hurt but I have to say when Security and Atlanta Police figure out what was going on they sprang into action quick and out the door the trouble makers went!!!!!!???????

Had to wait in line over an hour. Our group was split up so we had to wait 20 more minutes for them to be let in. Garbage music - Unchained Melody, on a Saturday after midnight. Tried to request a song and grumpy dj says he has to play from a set list. Watered down drinks. Overcrowded and no place "acceptable" to stand. Harassed by waitress and staff. A complete waste of time and money. Johnny's is not what it used to be. Avoid the hassle and go somewhere else. Emily, please don't bother to respond. Your staff already conveyed they "don't care". Their words.

This place is not worth going to. The bouncers at the door artificially hold up the line to get bribes. $40 each to skip the line, otherwise 1.5 hour wait in the cold.We went because we heard it was great for dancing and had a good selection of music and we did not find this to be true. The songs were very low energy, and the dance floor was packed with clearly messy drunk couples sloppily making out and stumbling around.I will say the bathrooms were very clean, and they have a lot of bar space so it’s easier to get to the counter and get drinks than it is in many places. All in all, not a winner. Not likely to recommend to anyone and I was dissatisfied with my experience.

Love this place, the staff is awesome, wait security, valet A+++ :). Good is very good too, dancing is fun, and great place for parties and drinks.

Be ready for a surprise! My friend and I had a blast here on a Thursday night after someone recommended for me to visit while I stay in Atlanta for more than a few days. The dance floor was super active and fun. Good place for those looking for more mature fun.

This place doesn't start jumping until after 9pm. I would recommend you come in around 8pm, have a bite to eat, and spend the rest of your evening dancing the night away. Finding a table after 9:30pm could be a little difficult depending on the night you come. This is our favorite place to go dancing. Always fun, 100%
