ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!!! Ordered brown stew chicken, they gave me 4 HUGE chicken legs, they drowned my rice with gravy & gave me sweet yams instead of plantains ! I would give them ZERO STARS if I could !!
I ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas. First of all, never again! I don't know how this place has over 4 stars. I never thought I would complain about food portions...the food was packed so high it was spilling over the plate. I knew something wasn't right when I saw the portion size. They gave me what looked like a whole sweet plantain un smashed like literally fried and not mashed. The jerk chicken was disgusting, and the rice was nothing near rice and peas; it looked like brown rice. I threw my food away but ate as much as I could because I was stuck doing a 12hr shift in the hospital. Those portions are unhealthy literally looked like a body in my plate. I was so disgusted.
Not one to leave bad reviews as I believe in the saying "If you do not have anything nice to say, then do say anything at all", however, I'm a bit disappointed at the fact that my order was wrong. I asked for white rice and got rice and peas. . . asked for thigh and wings got a thigh and two jumbo legs (pretty sure it's genetically modified). Jerk chicken taste more like stew chicken . . Tbh, it taste like stew with pepper seeds sprinkled on it. My family owns a couple of Jamaican restaurants and it's all I've eaten growing up in a Jamaican household. Maybe I'll give them another try and order something a bit easier to prepare. Actually I'll give two stars for the large portion. Portion shouldn't sacrifice taste though.

Inexpensive, huge portions of delicious jerk chicken. It’s a speedy counter-serve restaurant and the staff is very nice.
This was my first time at Jamrock Restaurant and first time having any REAL Jamaican food. The plate sizes are huge and the food was really good. Wouldn't be my last time coming here.
Portions are huge. These boxes were small. The food as pretty tasty.
I dropped my food outside the business, i just had a bad day but I came back told the manager that I drop my food because it was literally right after i left and they gave me another plate free of cost I really love this business and the food was amazing everything that any Jamaican would love and any customer by any means would appreciate this business

The oxtails were horrible!!!!! Over cooked and under seasoned!!! The rice and peas was bland and under cooked… the beef pattie was thee absolute worse!!! Sorry to say, but, the oxtail and beef pattie were the worst I have ever had!!! My friend and I were so disgusted! $56 completely wasted! We literally threw the food in the trash .
