Not what we were expecting.. you couldn’t really read the flavor names. It was nice seeing that kids were helping out but not one adult in sight. The portions were awful for the price.. the place isn’t like the pictures
My son ordered us some ice cream from here instead of Jenni’s. Thought we’d try something new. Biggest mistake we’ve ever made. It was terrible. Don’t waste your money or the calories
Sitting outside right now finishing my second cone. Incredible homemade ice cream with great and knowledgeable staff. Joel and Jolee (I hope I spelled that correctly) were super nice and welcoming. Will definitely return regularly.
Such a fun place to visit! Had a great experience here. Jake’s shares a shop space with a beignet shop and biscuit shop. I think that’s a novel idea because we came for beignets, which we loved, but also left with ice cream!What’s not to love! The staff was friendly and funny. We tried several different flavors, I got the chocolate oat milk and a butter finga scoop. Loved the flavors I chose! Along with Icecream they also have sorbet and several flavors of lemonade. Unfortunately I didn’t get to try the lemonade because they were out of the base to make it. Hopefully I’ll get to try it next time we stop by!
The ice cream had freezer ice in it, but otherwise it tasted pretty good.
Very kind service and a solid option for a scoop or two if you want a creative and fun flavor that isn’t complex or “bougie”. Product is very good though not quite mind-blowing (I’d rather have Jeni’s or Butter & Cream nearby, though they are both a little more expensive)
My first time visiting and will definitely return. Pain killer ice cream was delicious!! Nice staff, samples were very helpful. Price and portion were good
Love this local shop! My 3 fav flavors: Coffee & Doughnuts & Chocolate Slap Yo Mama & PB&J... All are worth a visit to Jake's.
Devyns animal cracker is now my all time favorite!!! Staff was super nice. Had to go back in and buy a pint ? Will definently be returning often!
Pretty good. I don’t think it’s the best artisan kind if ice cream I’ve had.No indoor seating due to covid.
