If I could give it 10 stars I would. Our entire office ordered from here today and it was excellent. The red snapper, jerk chicken, oxtails, beef patties, fried dumplings, and stewed chicken was FABULOUS. We will be back soon. Thank you James. (we were too hungry for pics but we will get some next time). Oh and the cabbages were the best and very flavorful. Also the plantains were perfect as well
I ordered via Door Dash and it came quickly. The food was very good. I ordered the oxtail meal which was $28. Although the food was delicious, I was not pleased with the portion of meat I received. 4 small/medium pieces of ox tails and one very small potato. Not sure if it comes with potatoes or if this small one made it accidentally. It was delicious and wished I’d got my money’s worth. I’ll give them another try bc I live in the area and my ObGYN is located in the same building.UPDATE‼️❗️‼️I went today for lunch and was blown away. This restaurant exceeded my expectations. I was expecting to just get a few extra pieces of oxtails. Not only did the man pile on the oxtails, he treated me to lunch! He also explained that someone new was there on that initial day. I am so grateful they kept their word. Thanks Again ⭐️
We stopped here because our regular spot was closed.. and yeah won’t be going back. We were told the oxtails would be ready in 20 mins and they clearly were rushed. No flavor and tough. The most flavor was in the cabbage we requested extra gravy and definitely didn’t receive. Also 30 bucks for five oxtails smh
I love this place, you get so much food for a reasonable price and it taste amazing. My favorite part of this place after food is the smell of the grill and talking with everyone behind the counter. Seriously it’s a cool place, the food is great and if you don’t want to cook yourself and don’t want greasy fast food the I recommend you come here and get that jerk chicken. It’s grilled to perfection and ask them to make the rice and beans swimmin in oxtail gravy.
Yes and YES and YES AND YES!!!!!!! When you see the grill outside you know what’s up! After attending carnival 2022 and being disappointed with the food…We were on the hunt for some great Jamaican food to settle our tummies. After reading reviews all the local Islanders stated this was the spot. And boy were they on point! Customer service was absolutely amazing and these were the best oxtails I have ever had and that’s a high bar to reach! We also got fried chicken and baby they had the graces ketchup!!!! If you know you know! The jerk chicken was amazing as well. The main thing that I really loved about this food was it was truly authentic no water down flavor and the spice was on point! We have deemed this spot Our Jamaican go to whenever we are in Atlanta!
Jerk and curry chicken was great. Loved the rice as well. Will definitely order from here again. I need to try the chicken patties! Portions are friendly( pic is minus 2 pieces) ?
This place is authentically Jamaican! The customer service is great and even real Jamaicans cooking and serving you. This is as close to Jamaica you’re going to get in Atlanta. Yeah Mon!!! Ting nice! My Daugher is JAMERICAN and she was craving her roots.
My boyfriend & I went to visit today! He ordered spicy jerk chicken and I had oxtails, both were incredibly great! This was our first time trying Jamaican food and we were pleased! We will be back.
Good food! Authentic! I’ve been here several times while in Atlanta and have had a good experience each time.
I was around town and googled Jamaican restaurants this was the closest place. My best advice is to keep an eye out for the yellow signs on the sidewalk they’re not big but you will see the Jamaican flag on it also the parking is a bit tricky you have to turn in on the side next to another restaurant in order to get into the parking lot the restaurant is actually located inside another building. The food as pictured I already started eating my apologies. We got a stew chicken and a curry goat what they don’t tell you is the peas and rice is considered a side and so you have to choose between steam cabbage peas and rice and plantains.Food is very expensive I paid $15 for the jerk chicken it does come with a small container of sauce and the curry goat was $19.50 as seen on the board. Although, the lady who was cashing us out told me what the cost is $26 which we notice was the ox tail.Be sure that they are charging you correctly based on the price listed, otherwise it’s false advertisement. I gave them 3 stars for the food, it was OK!I probably won’t go back only because it’s expensive.
