After spending a week in Atlanta looked for a typical American joint for dinner. Grand daughter zeroed in on Hudson’s Grill in downtown. Another reason for the choice as most of the restaurants close taking order after 8/9 PM. Here we were welcomed with a warm smile and ushered to a table for three of us. There were multiple TV screens all around with live programmes. Customers seem to be thoroughly enjoying their drinks & food. The young girls took our orders and served pretty quickly. The food and the table wine was good and the best part was the ambience where one does not have to bother for their dress or manners. Both food and drinks were not expensive. That was a good time spent.
After unsuccessfully getting a spot at several other restaurants on a Saturday night, we were thrilled to grab a seat rather quickly here. I have to say that the entire staff worked so well together. Everyone helped seat, serve, and clean up. It was wonderful to see. Plenty of TVs to watch the games, including rugby! Food was excellent, too. We had the Caesar salad which, thankfully, wasn't overpowered by dressing and the ribs with the Maker's Mark BBQ sauce. *chef's kiss*
The ribs combo was okay. The buffalo chicken nachos were to die for. The buffalo chicken wrap with fries was okay.
The food was great, the drinks were amazing and Pascal was WONDERFUL. My mother doesn't like ME sometimes, but she LOVED him. He took great care of her and she can be hard to please, believe me. He took great care of the whole two table party we had, and it was a LOT to handle. It was a great first time, but we'll definitely be back with more people and to try more things on the menu.
The WORST service! We ordered online and never received the order. They didn’t care at all or offer to do anything about it. Put me on hold for over 30 minutes before getting on the phone to tell me they didn’t know where my order was and it wasn’t their responsibility.

I ordered my food online around 7:55pm, to be ready for 8:10pm. I work across the street at the Metropolis and left later to make sure my food would be ready. Upon arriving there was a lady already waiting and a couple walked in before me. We stood there for about 20mins before anyone said anything to anyone. The waitress or whoever finally walked over and walked around me to the lady behind me and started a conversation. She then went back to the kitchen and came back with bags for the lady in front of me. Then went back to the kitchen and came back with food bags for the lady behind and give her, her food. She then turned to me and the group of people standing there, and said we don't have anything ready with an attitude!!! She was very rude and nonchalant about the situation!! When I asked her what do you mean you don't have anything ready, I placed my ordered online. She never asked me what I was here for.. She didn't know if needed to be seated or if I was picking up food. She just stated rudely that nothing was ready!! I asked to speak with the manage and he was also nonchalant. The food, our server Pasquale, & ONE door man was the only good thing about this place! We got on the wait list upon arrival- 20 mins, not bad right?! We sat RIGHT be the door and never moved from that spot. 50 mins goes by & so many after us had been seated. We go to the hostess & mention it. She had crossed us off the list without even once calling our name one time! The door man got us a seat immediately but the manager stood watching & listening the whole time and never said a word. This was our Valentines Dinner and we had plans after, that were canceled because we were at the restaurant so long! Our server had the best personality & eased our frustration and the door man was helpful throughout our meal as well.
The food was a 10 out 10! I truly enjoyed the sweet potato fries with the marshmallow dipping sauce. The hot wings were amazing and the hamburger was cooked to perfection. We could have had a better waitress but the food made up for her lack. Will definitely return.
