They have parking at the back side of the building. There is plenty of space inside to sit and work, hangout with friends and I loved the vibe! The barista was super nice and we could chose the syrups we'd like to be added onto the coffee. I had the iced coffee with rose syrup and it was amazing! Will definitely go again.

Always great coffee and bites. I have been away and didn’t know they have a shop now. Super cool.

Very friendly and nice energy coming from here. Bring a mask or if you don’t have one they have some at the door and it is required to order at the counter. The light house coffee is smooth and quite delightful. I can’t wait to try the pastries and empanadas!

Environment is super friendly, and I feel very welcome here. The staff is always nice and the drinks are always good. There’s plenty of places to sit and it’s quite enough that you can get some work done. The OH honey latte and cinnamon cake were delicious!

First time at Hodgepodge and I ordered a 16oz OH Honey, it's a honey & vanilla latte. It was a very good cup of coffee. Definitely a must try. It was a cute little coffee shop with a variety of pastries and coffees to pick from. Go try them out. Very friendly too.

This one hurts to write. When I first starting going here the coffee was good and the orders were right. But now I’ve gone in the morning being one of the only patrons (so not busy at all) and my order has been consistently wrong. They charge for milk and flavoring but forget to put it in. It’s even written on the cup. But it’s been 3x now that the flavoring or milk has not been in my coffee. The baked goods have been dry lately. It’s just gone downhill and I’m sad to say I probably will go somewhere else in the mornings now.

So, this place is somewhat of an anomaly. I think I like it mainly because the coffee is good, the signature drinks are actually unique, and they are actively involved in good-for-the-area causes. That said, the atmosphere is somewhat sparse--there is character but it lacks coziness, perhaps due to COVID.

Great service and great caffeinated beverages! On top of that, an absolute pillar of the local community. Hodgepodge has done so much for their employees, local businesses, and people in need during the past few years it is unbelievable. Absolutely a go-to coffee shop for me!

By now this place is no secret. They have an excellent coffee / tea selection and their beef patties are better than most Jamaican restaurants! The pastries are awesome too. Always kind service and a place to sit and read or meet. East Atl's best coffee shop!!!

The coffee is consistently good imo. They are also willing to tweak it for you if not made to your liking, which I like. They recently opened back up the dining room which is awesome! The cons: as most people have been saying- many but not all of the baristas seem cold/ dismissive.. appear unhappy w/ the thought of being at thier job.I recently had an especially “off-putting” experience w/ 1 of the baristas at 7:01 at the time Hodgepodge is supposed to open (the original location). I walk up to the door and it is locked still at 7:01. I am on the way to work, so this is a little alarming. There are two staff members inside. One at the register, the other putting pastries away in the warmer. I was standing right outside the door.. being ignored I know by at least the one putting away parties ( she’s the one that wears cowboy hats and dinosaur teeth). After a couple minutes I start gently knocking on the door bc she is obviously ignoring me. If it’s 7:05.. and you’re clearly ignoring a regular patron standing at the door, wouldn’t that hint to you to at least acknowledge someone and let them know you aren’t “ready” to open yet.At 7:06 when they finally opened the door to let me in, there was no apology or acknowledgement of leaving me outside in the cold to wait until they were ready conveniently open.It was COMPLETELY rude and a culmination of thier rudeness and aloofness to even loyal customers. I know this is not a representation of the owner & hw she would want her buisiness run as I have encountered her many times in the past and she has seemed pretty friendly.I understand the turmoil that happened recently at 1 of your locations.. but treating customers w/ dignity and respect (as I’m sure they would like to be treated) should not be a compromise bc of that.Thank you for my Ted Talk. Hope it wasn’t too long ;-)
