Just OK but $15 for a fried rice plate seems pretty steep. We tried just the vegetarian hibachi plate. Wait time on a busy Saturday was about ten mins.As other reviewers have mentioned the veggies (zucchini in particular) were sliced huge and the portion of rice itself wasn’t all that large. I was also dissapointed they didn’t offer to top the dish with cabbage or green onion as stated on the menu- just put sesame seeds. I really liked the yum yum sauce. Flavor was good and ingredients tasted fresh but not sure I’d return for the price tag.
So, it was a vegan "restaurant ". I put it in quotes because it was like a mall. A bunch of restaurants inside of an open area. There were places to sit, picnic tables, everywhere. The food was good! 1/2 star off because the food seemed expensive, but maybe I'm a cheap skate. Each meal was between $18-21. But then I dont know Atlanta prices, I'm from Colorado.
Great Vegan Hibachi!!! With the Yum Yum sauce included!!!!
I was really excited to try this place, so I ordered on UberEats for lunch. I got the mushroom and shrimp combo plate and overall I was impressed. I did not really care for the shrimp, but the mushrooms and other veggies were good. The only downside was the zucchini; the chunks were so big! I also tried all of the sauces and the only one I liked was the yum yum. I would definitely return, but it is on the pricier side. I paid about $30 for the plate with a lemonade and the extra sauces.
Wow!! I’m so shocked by how similar this taste to regular hibachi. I ordered 2 chik’n and shrimp plates one for me and one for my bf and paid like $43 for both. Btw, I am NOT vegan but I am very please with how well it tasted. The chik’n tasted like real chicken, however the shrimp will take some getting use to. The texture of the shrimp substitute was a little to rubbery for me. Overall good and I got full without feeling overwhelmingly fool .
This vegan hibachi spot located in the Works is such a great place for any vegan looking for options to eat or someone who’s been dying to try vegan food. It’s got an absolutely cute aesthetic. The staff was very kind and the food came out extremely quick. When I tried the vegan shrimp, I was honestly surprised how strongly it resembled shrimp and the portion was perfect for a single person. All in all, I would come here again by myself or with friends to try a filling, tasty vegan meal
The veggies were Very flavorful overall delicious
We had gotten recommendations to go to Hippie Hibachi more than once. We finally caved and came here for dinner and we were not disappointed. We had pretty high expectations coming in and our expectations were blown away. It’s not too hard to find Vegan food at Chattahoochee Food Works but it’s definitely hard to choose something other than Hippie Hibachi in the future.Ps. I highly recommend adding the Vegan egg!
As a long time shellfish allergy sufferer, I honestly thought Hibachi was something I’d never eat out and about again! I WAS SO WRONG! This place was absolutely amazing and left nothing wanting. I’m not vegetarian/vegan by any means and did not miss or notice there is no “meat”
This was the second time coming to Hippie Hibachi and I love it every time! I decided to get the veggie hibachi plate. The vegetables and rice were cooked to perfection! I love that this restaurant is vegan and gluten free ?? For someone with food allergies and sensitives this restraint is everything!
