This was my first visit to this wonderful establishment!! I love everything about Healthful Essence from the friendly welcome to the charismatic banter of the employees! The food was very flavorful and filling I will absolutely be back. (I skipped work early from Emory to come here and it was well worth it)
This was my first time visiting this restaurant although I knew about them and I've passed here many times but the day me and a friend stopped in for lunch/dinner the staff that served us was very helpful when describing the foods and how they taste it I will definitely be going back
Definitely a 5 star!! They are very creative with their vegan Caribbean eats! This is my go to place for a healthy, inexpensive, and a great portion of food! Their eggplant & plantains are the best! And the cornbread is everything!
The food is delicious. I am not a vegetarian but leaning more and more towards a vegan diet. I was in the area and decided to try Healthful Essence for a late lunch. I was very pleased with the food and service. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant is a very small neighborhood restaurant and the food is amazing. I will definitely be returning to this place.
Their food is usually on point! One of my favorite items is the squash soup! Ooo soo good. And don't sleep on their smoothies ? very fulfilling.
My husband and I went this past weekend for the first time and it was very pleasant. We tried pretty much everything on the menu and it was delicious. We also ordered the detox which was highly recommended. We will definitely be back ?
I love the restaurant and all of the workers . Princess is a jewel and cooks with perfections. Charles makes juices that are very delicious . I recommend this restaurant to anyone that is vegan or trying to convert over. Take that challenge.
I have visited several times and truly enjoy the freshness and quality of their food. They give you decent portions and the customer service is consistently good! I don't ever feel rushed when ordering and if you have any questions about any of the items, they are very helpful with answering any inquiries. It can get a lil pricey based on what you order, but it's well worth it. I love their food and would recommend this place to others.
Friendly service. Food was good when I sampled in store, but once I got my order home it wasn't as tasty. Weird right? I did get there right before they closed. I'd try them again though for sure!
