Tonkotsu Ramen was absolutely amazing!! My spouse had the Seafood Ramen and he said it was phenomenal! So happy to have finally found a true Ramen spot close to home! And loved the decor, layout, and overall vibe inside!
I came here on a lunch date. I enjoyed the setting, back away from the main plaza traffic. The rice was just the right degree of sticky, where it didn't taste like separate grains. The food is freshly cooked, hibachi style with just the right amount of sauces. I will be coming back here. BTW, the menu here is a QR code so make sure that you have that app downloaded to your phone.
I would have taken more pictures but I ate the food too fast. This place has amazing food and service. Do yourself a favor and get the Spicy Miso Ramen with pork belly. Hands down one of the best ramen places in the Atlanta area. This is our number one ramen spot.
Hajime is a great place. The people at every nice and the food is good. They are always understaffed and that may make it hard to reach them by phone to call an order in, but they work hard and the quality never suffers. Check them out, and if you can’t reach them by phone, stop in and say hello in person instead.
The ramen was pretty good, I got the ultimate spicy tonkotsu level 2 (out of 100) thinking it wouldn't be that bad. It was a little more spicy than American hot. The noodles are a light orange because they are actually spicy noodles. The broth was good, not super thick and rich but still very flavorful.We also got the shishito peppers, cucumber app, and Edamame. Peppers are served with some kind of salt powder and had a nice coating of sesame oil. They were good. Cucumber app was good as well.Service was good. The waiter was attentive and got our order correct despite all our questions not writing anything down.The place has a cool vibe but it could use some background music. Your conversation feels like it's being shared with the restaurant. Overall I'd come back to try the bao buns and some other items that looked good.
I ate Tonkotsu ramen for the first time in a while. I am satisfied with this level in America. Gyoza has a strong smell of Chinese chive
Phenomenal! Literally, everything was amazing. Our server who was the only person on the floor, great, polite, timely. The food was incredible, onigiri was bigger than expected, spicy miso(WOW) with extra pork and an extra egg hit the spot, the seafood Ramen was amazing. The Sriracha (probably house made) was delicious! The photos are before and mid way, both bowls were finished!!!
Hajime and Umaido are the top tier Ramen destinations here in the Metro Atlanta area.
This place just never misses. I almost feel like it’s a hidden gem. Food is fresh and service is great. Their fresh made noodles are top notch. Service is wonderful and everyone is knowledgeable about the product, if you’re a first line ramen person. They also have WONDERFUL vegan options!!
The ramen was amazing! Perfectly flavored, delicious toppings, and great portion size. Our server was wonderful, and so helpful in helping me decide what to get. The hot mango mochi and the cute ambiance were great bonuses!
