No, it’s not a New York deli! But, it’s the best we got here in Atlanta! The overstuffed NYC sandwiches are light years away, but damn it, Gruby’s still can diminutively satisfy that niche. The corned beef, pastrami, and tongue( when they have it) hits the spot when Brooklyn is a far distance away. And add a little decent cole slaw, potato salad and Russian dressing and your right back in the old neighborhood. So let’s give Gruby’s their just due, and respect the spot as though it was a refreshing oasis in middle of a very dry desert. Joe Freeman

Picked up some pastrami and corned beef for a party over the weekend. Great deli! Although was caught off guard by the current cost. $30 a pound for deli meat. I guess it's been awhile since I was last there, say about $12 or so.

The food and service is great quality.

Absolutely amazing service and food. This is a must go to location. Be sure to come very hungry. the sandwiches are massive and there is no way to get anything fresher. This trip was for to go items. kosher salami, white fish salad and potato knishes. all FANTASTIC.

Delicious, multicultural food that you rarely find in Metro Atlanta. One bite and I was beamed back to 1980 New Jersey One sandwich with three meats and a side of potato knish made this flashback a warm moment from my past. I also cannot forget the great customer service. If you haven't please try grubbers I guarantee that you will not regret it.

My husband and I accidentally happened upon this spot as we were turning around to find somewhere to eat for breakfast prior to our son's CHOA appointment. Not only was the food delicious and fast, but the service was top notch! The gentleman that served us was so polite and genuinely conversed with us as if we were old friends, it was relaxing and delightful, especially since we were nervous for our sons appointment.

Decided to try this place for lunch since it’s just down the road from where I work. OMG everything we’ve had has been amazing. From sandwiches for lunch, breakfast items etc it’s all delicious. I remember the first sandwich I had was about a mile high but when biting in it actually melted in my mouth. I thinkIt was a Ruben but I can’t quite remember. Just recently visited for a sit down breakfast and the Greek omelet was divine. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are in a New York deli and the staff is delightful as well. Gotta try this place!

You could call this comfort food. I like to think it’s a real taste of NY in the ATL.Matzo ball soup warms the soul, sandwich’s feed the heart, great place. Good baked goods and friendly service.
