The food was great. I ordered for myself and husband. The young lady who assisted me with my order was "WONDERFUL, FRIENDLY and a JOY to speak with. I purchased the rib dinner (4 ribs, collard greens and mac-n-chese) and chicken dinner (can't remember the pieces, greenbeans and potato salad). I also purchased a chocolate cake which I did not receive. I will definitely be coming back for more.
Great BBQ!! I'm real particular about where I buy my chicken. The chicken was great!! Seasoned, but lightly, so you can taste the smokiness. I'll be back!! I'm sad that you moved from the Southside but I will continue to support you in Decatur. ?
Ribs good, chicken parts red they say bc its smoked when they did it over it was very dry I don’t like white dry chicken it made me choke a little even with some sauce lol smh and Mac and cheese not fresh, green beans fresh but taste like can with no seasoning from meat, baked beans too sweet did not like. The workers smile and play nice but there is an undertone to them not liking your criticism or bringing back food even if you being polite. Overall just buy ribs that’s the only thing worth it!
First time patronizing this restaurant and it won't be my last!!! I had the cutest little sauce taste test, the service was personable and professional and the ribs were THE BOMB!!! Well seasoned, juicy and tender. This'll be my new spot for barbecue on the Eastside.
Like the sinage, but the food was a let down. The sauce on everything was horrible. And I ordered a pull pork sandwich that had almost no meat on it. Sad cause I don't eat BBQ often and decided to go here on a whim. I also got the pound cake expecting a home baked experience but this was store bought cake and not even one of the good ones. The lady in the front was nice tho.
Wonderful food comes with welcoming service, and a bomb playlist to boot. I got the chicken and rib combo with collards and Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese is delicious and the meat was exactly what I needed on a Sunday afternoon! Definitely stop by!
Went to GQ's Bar B Que today and I had to wait about 15 minutes because non was ready. I did not mind because they were just off the grill and the food was fantastic at a reasonable price and the service was excellent. I will definitely go back.
I dine here often and usually all of the food is great. Today the meats are great but it was a miss on the vegetables. I had ribs, chicken, potato salad and green beans.
