I love gong cha but unfortunately, I am disappointed with this establishment. The boba (topping) was too soft. But it wasn't that it was cooked too long but it felt as if the boba was reheated or it has been a while since it was cooked.Gong cha in general have their drinks on the sweeter side so I thought I'd get my drinks less sweet but they came out being not sweet at all.
We got the lemon ai-yu tea with white pearls and the earl grey milk tea with 3Js (both from the top ten menu), as well as a brown sugar ginger bubble waffle. The waffle was warm and yummy, and the flavors were subtle. The ai-yu was refreshing and the earl grey, with grass jelly, pudding jelly, and boba, was smooth and dessert-like. The sugar and ice levels were customizable and came out correctly.
Ordered the Iced milk tea with grass jelly, egg pudding, and boba. Milk tea was very smooth and flavorful. They are very generous with the portion. I enjoy a good quality milk tea and Gong Cha serves good quality milk tea.
I first discovered Gong Cha in Shanghai and was so happy to see one was here. The passion fruit green tea is ?very efficient service
Such delicious Brown Sugar Coffee Black Milk Tea. I even got half the sugar and it was still the best tasting drink.
We stopped by on a weekday after dinner, so it was a easy and quick order. They didn't skim on the boba, unlike some places.
Our fav milk tea n boba place. ?After tasting close to 100 shops’ blends in the US, HK and Taiwan, still our #1. The tea flavor is a bit stronger in HK and more milky in GA but the lemon aiyu is consistent throughout all the ones we’ve tasted. Can’t wait til they open a Chicago location.
I really liked this boba spot because the interior and set up of the store was super cute and clean. I got the black milk tea with black tapioca pearls, light ice. It was really good and the boba was amazing!! It was super chewy and soft.
So many options very nice quality drinks, space to sit, always friendly, best bubble waffles around
We ordered Mango Green Tea, Lychee Green Tea, and a Mango Smoothie! Everything was good but the mango smoothie was AMAZING!
