I’ve been here a few times before and I took a friend of mine for his first time at this location. One of the factors of an excellent restaurant is consistency, quality, service and that extra something special.Food Terminal has lived up to all four factors.Granted it was a Monday night with a couple of tables, every dish came out beautifully and sometimes very quickly. It turned out, we ordered enough for three people! Three small veggie dishes, a bone marrow noodle soup for him and a 6 hr slow cooked beef spare ribs for me.The bone marrow soup was apparently delicious I wouldn’t know because he didn’t say a word and just ENJOYED his food.I on the other hand am very responsive so I couldn’t help remarking about my spare ribs which were not too flavorful and just melted in my mouth and I chewed slowly. Our server Alias was not overly friendly, courteous and very helpful. The quality and freshness of the food and meat was very much appreciated even when I inquired about the salad and the funny texture of the tofu. The staff is somewhat friendly but more importantly helpful. After two years, consistency in excellent food and service gives this place five stars.
I came here on a hot Sunday afternoon for some good Asian food on my second to last day in Atlanta. I'm from Northern VA, which also has a big Asian population and excellent eats, so I came in a little skeptical but was very pleasantly surprised. The decor inside is cute and it's big and airy. Service is very prompt and servers are friendly. The menu is sooo big, it can be hard to get through. Downside is it's mostly pork items (and I don't eat pork) but you'll find enough other items. I settle for the spicy beef noodle soup and my friend ordered the shrimp noodles. Both dishes were delicious. I also ordered a virgin mojito and that was also super refreshing. I was too full to try dessert, but I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area next.
I had the curry chicken with dal and paratha. it tasted good but small portions. The rest of my party enjoyed their food and had good sized meals. There was too much pork on the menu for a Malaysian restaurant with it mixed in with a lot of the chicken dishes It was a real off put.
Food was good, waitress was friendly. Grandma noodles with pork was my favorite. Although if aren't big on sauce tell them.light sauce. The Honey Shrimp surprised was not glazed, but still very good. The Garlic. Noodles were good and garlicky. I'll be back.
Lots of food options.LOVE the fact that they have actual pictures for the food choices. It makes it easier to choose what to eat.Service - very good!Food - pretty decent. Price point was good.
The sauces on the dishes are good, but the eggs are cooked too much in my opinion. The servers are very friendly, they accommodated our large group’s needs. The menu has lots of options so there’s something for every taste.
Staff was very attentive to our needs especially since we have celiac disease. They do have rice noodles but most things have soy sauce in them so not the most gluten free friendly place. However the food was amazing if you’re not extremely sensitive.
Food Terminal is serving up Asian Fusion dishes in West Midtown Atlanta on Marietta Street. The path started with a vision by Amy at just fifteen years old selling noodles from a Malaysian kiosk. They are all about the fusion of Asian and Malaysian flavors and are located in a hip space with cool, industrial vibes. You will find a wide range of Asian street eats inspired by Malaysian dishes. I was very impressed by the full-color, magazine-style menu that showed exactly how each dish will be presented. It made ordering very efficient as there are a number of delicious dishes to choose from. Want to know what I tried at Food Terminal? Keep reading to find out! First I tried Grandma wonton bbq pork-tossed noodle. Featuring grandma's secret bbq pork recipe, this popular Cantonese tossed noodle is served with Food Terminal's signature thin noodle, fried wanton, bok choy, bean sprout, spring onion, fried egg and fried shallots. The sauce is super delicious and the portion size is large enough to share or have leftovers. Next I went with ps02 Honey butter shrimp. This dish contained shrimp, seasoning powder, egg white, salt & pepper, bell pepper, and honey butter sauce. I was impressed that this dish contained a dozen yummy shrimp. Last was the sp05 Honey butter wings. This appetizer was six pieces of fried chicken wings served with honey butter dressing. These wings had a light, delicious coating and were seasoned very well. . @ServingLooksATL: Serving up some tasty picks.
Great food. They staff was very friendly. Nice and clean inside. I will be back until i try everything on the menu. I had the Szechuan beef and crispy pig ears. My friends dish was good but i forgot the name. Overall a good place if you like different types of asian food and fusion.
Amazing food. I loved how the menu showed pictures of how each dish looked. it took us a long time to choose what we wanted because everything looked so good. staff was very nice and kind. The cocktail menu has very creative drinks. The Thai me up is definitely a drink to try, delicious. My family and I never order dessert because we are always too full by the time dessert comes. Even on full bellies, we couldn't resist the urge to order dessert since the desserts were absolutely beautiful in the pictures on the menu. We are from out of state visiting and highly recommend this Asian fusion restaurant to everyone. We're grateful we were able to find this place. We wish they had a location closer to our home.
