We were seated right away. Entree service time was delayed a very long time. We assume it was due to a large party in the center of the Dining Room. Scallops were very good. Risotto meal served scalding hot. Server was friendly and efficient. However, it was odd that she wore yoga type slacks. Also odd for an upscale restaurant was the menu printed on copy paper.
Overbooked the resteraunt. Didnât have tables in main room so seated overflow at bar. Didnât have enough servers. Food was good but wait to eat was too long. .
First time dining at Fia - and we were not disappointed at all! Delicious food and beautiful ambiance. The restaurant was certainly full and unfortunately they didnât have the staff (kitchen or waitstaff) to support the business, but it didnât really matter because whenever we DID get our next courses, the food was phenomenal. Our server, Angela, was perfection. She truly made our night special and kept calm and positive throughout a clearly stressful night. We will definitely be back!
Fia has great food but the branzino seems overpriced for the amount of food you get. Plus my daughter wanted a Caesar salad and they wouldnât do a kids size portion. I was surprised their wasnât flexibility around that. Moreover the corkage fee is pretty hefty for Atlanta coupled with a wine list that is not very impressive. I collect wine and prefer to bring mine in but not at $35 to open my wine.
Excellent meal. And the service was great. We had the salmon with lemon and capers. Also the mushroom and English pea risotto. We also had the watermelon feta and balsamic salad and the Caprese salad. Everything was wonderful! We highly recommend. This restaurant is inside the Burgess Hotel. Hotel is a gem and the restaurant is special.
We had a great experience!! Great flavors in the food. Very multinational. Service was enjoyable. The chef/owners are lovely. Iâd consider staying at their hotel next time weâre in town.
It was our first time here and all we can say is compliments to the chef!!!!!!!!! The service, drinks, dessert and food were absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! You can taste the passion and love Chef Burgess puts into the food. Prior to our dinner experience here, we had an absolute favorite restaurant in town (and my husband and I travel the country, but THIS is now our favorite place!! We will absolutely come back...and stay at the hotel for the full experience. Thank you Mr. Burgess!!! 5 stars!
Fia has very flavor packed, delicious food and drinks, and an amazing atmosphere, highly recommend!
The food was very good. It wasnât very busy though and it took a long time to get our dinner.
Our third visit to FIA and, as always, DELICIOUS!! Our guests, who are picky foodies, loved it too. This is one of only a handful of restaurants in Atlanta that we have on our regular rotation and it never disappoints.
