Falafel King is a classic little, lunch-focused restaurant near a college campus. Their food is tasty and an excellent value. I appreciate that they have free parking, which isn't a given near Emory. This is a great stop if you're in the area.
I don't know why the lines are so long at Chipotle next door when you can get excellent food here for the same price. I got a mixed shawarma/falafel sandwich, which had a very satisfying crispy texture and grilled flavor for the meat.A friend got the ramen, which he said was too soft. That might just be a personal taste, but I also prefer noodles that don't feel like they've been floating in broth for the whole night. If I'd only tried the sandwich, I would have given five stars, but for my friend's ramen disappointment, I'll peg it at four.
The chicken Shawarma sandwich is delicious and fairly priced. It's a small, family run business and the wait is never very long. Probably the best restaurant in the area for a quick bite to eat. Also the spicy sauce is really good.
This place is special. The owners carefully and consistently provide reliably amazing food and service. Its always so clean and tidy. This is the type of business I love to spend my money on. Fair prices & worth every cent.
As an Emory alum this place is near and dear to my heart! But I definitely recommend going there before the dinner rush!
One of the best values in town. The falafel and the pita are both great, but the sauce that goes on the fresh veggies absolutely seals the deal. The interesting combination of Japanese with Mediterranean is unique as well. Biggest complain is the shop is too small- ordering and getting your food can be trick during peak.
Delightful small restaurant with the PERFECT falafel pita sandwich! I haven't been here in almost a decade, but I remember this was my favorite spot in Emory Village and believe everyone nearby should give it a chance. Prices were very reasonable as well for those who want inexpensive, yet delicious food
One of my favorite places for a quick lunch. I’ve NEVER had a bad experience here. Get the mixed sandwich and extra yum yum sauce on the side!!!
Ordered a pita sandwich and two sides. Waited while many others who ordered after get their food first. Sandwich was build from bottom up so a mouthful of something different each time I took a bite.
Tried to go in during their business hours and they locked the doors.. There were customers sitting in at 6pm but they would not open for me. They had a sign saying they will open back up at 7pm.
