I love this place. It feels 'yummy' AND everything I have tasted is satisfying. I have no pics to share because my belly needed it more, lol. I legit almost don't want to tell others about Evergreen, but I gotta share good news.
They won’t even answer a simple question unless you wear a mask (on 4/29/22). Wanted some dry aged steaks and just wanted to know if they had any. Refused to give me service or answer that simple question because I did not have a mask. If they had the steak in stock, I would put a mask on and order. But I don’t want to waste A) their masks and B) everyone’s time, so if they said no we don’t have any, I would have left anyway. If they said yes, we do have dry aged steaks, I would have put a mask on and ordered. I was socially distanced from everyone while asking my simple question.It was a simple question they refused to answer. (I observed only one employee who had an actual N95 mask on…)If I could suggest a better response that would provide better customer engagement for the next time; maybe instead of refusing to even engage with the customer, just say, “yes, we do have dry aged steaks, but if you want to order anything you’ll need to put a mask on.” Or say, “no. We don’t have the steaks, but if you’d like to browse and order something else, we ask that you wear a mask.”All fine and understandable. But to completely disregard the customer all together and refuse any personable or quality service and/or answer…? That’s a bit rude and a bit much.

Decided it was past time to check out my Kirkwood neighborhood butcher and Baker Evergreen today. The roast beef sandwich was great and so were the giant Chocolate chip cookies. Since I forgot my wallet there, AND they called me I ran back to pick it up and bought more cookies and another ham and cheese croissant for later. I will be back!
Evergreen is quickly becoming one of my favorite lunch spots in Atlanta. They have an amazing assortment of pastries and a daily sandwich, made with their house deli meats. I do wish they'd post what their daily sandwich is online and carry a larger variety of drinks. Overall, though, this is an amazing new bakery, butcher, and lunch counter.
Wonderful quality products, poor customer service. Thanksgiving snafu happened, and I certainly own my part in it. I went in at the very earliest moment they reopened to talk to someone about the issue. An employee told me to email, instead of getting the manager to talk to me.After a few emails in which they said they called me and I see no calls on my phone that could have been them, and no voicemails, this is their response:"We don’t seem “eager to resolve this issue” because we are busy doing a million things every single day and don’t always have a lot of time in our day to resolve other peoples issues. But as we said before, we won’t be able to refund you this purchase for the reasons we stated in the previous email. We do see that you’ve shopped with us a few times before but unfortunately that doesn’t entitle you to store credit in the amount of your missed pick up.Thanks and have a nice day!"I think we ALL are doing a million things a day, friend.I guess I can't explain why this isn't customer service. It's not the NO, it's the "NO, screw you". Maybe others have had better experiences. Sadly, they have lost one loyal customer.
Such a great spot! Everything I’ve tried is great, but I especially enjoyed the sourdough bagel and cinnamon roll. I love that they put a little orange zest in the cinnamon roll icing. It’s amazing! Can’t wait to come back!
Amazing pastries, truly some of the best I have had including those in Europe. Sunday burgers are to die for as well (1-3pm only!)

Sean & Emma and the team knock it out of the park with everything they bake & butcher! Definitely worth the extra few $$ for the love and care put into their craft and their service.
