At my first visit here today, the point of sale system was down and there was a lot of confusion. Only online orders were being accepted and the online system was apparently throttling even taking orders. We rolled with it but after multiple check ins and nearly an hour, discovered our food was sitting on a pickup table cold. It was still pretty good, but the poor communication wasn't great. They were getting steady walk up traffic so I assume it's normally a better experience.

Now I am no bagel connoisseur. I can’t tell you if this is the best bagels in the city, but would I be lying to you if I told you that I didn’t drive over an hour in traffic for a damn bagel? YEA! First off, this is such a cute little spot with the cutest interior. It looks like I just stepped into a Time Machine back to the 60’s. Their online menu wasn’t super helpful so I included pics of the shop menu for your reference. You can totally get stuff directly from the menu but I found that bagel customizations were commonplace. The cashier was super nice and awesome and he described the egg cream perfectly. It’s basically a carbonated chocolate/vanilla milk so if you’re down for a new sensation, give it a shot. Of course, the bagels were delicious and fresh and don’t get me started on this freakin cookie. All in all, would I come back again? Yes 1000% yes and you should too!

Went there with a colleague since I was craving for a bagel and it was a good choice. The place was packed but they were quite fast. I had a great and fresh jalapeño bagel which was tasty and I would definitely come back.

This place has a great name and it looks very cool on the inside. I was their on a weekend morning and it was very busy but they moved people through quickly and was still able to get a table outside. I love bagel and lox and while it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had it certainly hit the spot. Definitely great to have a good bagel place in the area

My experience with establishment has been mostly good. But this morning was not a good experience. I shop here pretty consistently and I do so well after the rush hour and do pick up. I ordered 2 bagels with 2 cream cheese. I gave specific instructions to toast the bagels twice and put the cream cheese on the side. Usually they get it right. I got there to pick up my bagels and only one was in the bag. I corrected them and showed that I ordered two bagels per my receipt. The worked told a lady about the mistake and her response was, Just get another bagel and give it to him. That was odd but I let it go. When I got my order, the first bagel was correct but the second bagel was not toasted at all and the cream cheese was just piled all over the bagel. Completely opposite of the first one. This seem like no big deal to many but it was the way that it was handled with no regard for correcting the mistake and not paying attention to exactly what I ordered. Thankfully the worker was nice enough to apologize but the lady that he spoke to about it didn't seem to care. I'm sure that my face is recognizable since I have been there many times......... Thinking my next move of support.

I originally saw this spot on a local TV show about food...so I had to try it. And man was it worth it. The bagels are amazing and the sandwiches are very delicious. I didn't even mind waiting in line as the staff had it moving steadily along. I think that they are doing a fantastic job and you will not be disappointed. Word of advice, try the homemade seltzer waters-they're worth every penny!

It's not just the bagels it"s the creme cheeses and I am in love with the truffle cream cheese limited edition for Valentine’s Day. The blueberry cream cheese, yum!! The bagel flavors are different and divine, try the salt or rosemary and olive oil and of course the cinnamon sugar. One of the best bagel stores in ATL for real bagels. Outstanding.

A cute local spot with a classic aesthetic and good, but not great, bagels. The bagels were pretty bready without a ton of flavor; I personally prefer mine with a slight chew and light sourdough-ish flavor. They went heavy on the bacon for the BEC sandwich, which is always appreciated! The pastrami was a little dry and more cheese would probably have helped balance it. Overall though, these hit the spot, and Atlanta isn’t a huge bagel city so this is a pretty good spot for the area.

Great fresh bagels and good coffee! Very generous with their schmear. Limited seating, but a very cute vibe with retro uniforms and decor.

The nostalgia is strong at Emerald City Bagels. In fact, it may be the biggest draw for ECB. The service is efficient, the bagels are good and the cream cheese is plentiful. I’ve been several times, and the bagels are somewhat inconsistent- sometimes small, hard and dense; other times large and crunchy with a pillow-like interior. Go early or order ahead online.
