Had a great experience at Delbar last night! Me and my boyfriend chose to have a date night here and all aspects of our meal were really wonderful. We ordered a labneh, rice, and two meats which was plenty for the two of us. Everything was flavorful and cooked well! An additional plus was that the ambiance and service were also quite good! I would definitely like to come back and dine here again to try a few other things on their menu!
The sunroom area is AMAZING for ambiance. Make reservations ahead of time! We went on a hotter summer day but we weren't hot or uncomfortable at all. The yogurt based spreads are delicious. We particularly enjoyed the peach. Drinks were tasty, meats were soft and tender, and service was friendly. Only complaint is that free parking for this area is very limited and Inman parking deck is pricey but that is your safest option to guarantee a spot. It's also pricey but honestly what restaurant in this area isn't?
First time at Delbar, certainly not my last. We started out with the hummus and pita bread. The hummus was fantastic. We also tried the peach spread which was unique and delicious. For meats we had the lamb loan, salmon, minced chicken, grilled chicken, steak and grilled veggies. All were delicious but honestly the minced chicken was probably my favorite. Full of flavor.
What a wonderful restaurant! Food was amazing and cocktails equally amazing ! We weren’t sure what to get so our server Gabriella helped us out snd everything was wonderful. From the hummus to the lamb shank , it was delicious. Food came quickly and homemade pita bread replenished as much as we wanted. It was hot outside so we got a big carafe of water and a big carafe of ice. A perfect dinner. Will definitely be back when we are in town again !
My dining experience was good. The service was attentive. My date said 'better to be too attentive than not attentive enough.' I agree but would add 'read the table' I was enjoying my dates company and felt interrupted and a tiny bit annoyed by the frequent check-in from our waiter. It was very loud due to the crowd and this contributed to my frustrations also. This is not that big a deal but more of just a note. What was a big deal was that I called earlier in the morning to make a reservation and after being placed on hold for over an hour (I literally went and got a car wash while on hold), I was hung up on. Thinking it a fluke, I called again and it happened again. They may be a victim of their own success if that is normal/common. I was only able to get.a table through the use of an incentive. As for the food, I tried some things that I didn't like but I don't hold that against them. I'm not going to like everything. There was a lamb dish (pictured) that I did love. All in all it was a good experience. I would go back.
5.0 | this place is very very good. I would say this place is now on my top spots in ATL. the food was incredibly flavorful. the Omani shrimp appetizer is a must, as well as the Sabzi Polo. the hummus is incredible as well as the sea bass. this is one of those menus that I would feel quite confident saying anything you try is probably going to be very very good. everyone at our table enjoyed their meals, and we all split three desserts. the saffron ice cream was my favourite. make sure you also grab their condiments. cocktails are great, I loved the Saudi Money, and also enjoyed We’ll Always Have Paris. Go here early or call ahead of time to snag a reservation. we did drinks by the bar, then got seated about two hours later but didn’t mind the wait.
First time visitor. What an amazing atmosphere, friendly staff and AMAZING food. Highly recommend!!!
Great place , great service!!!
loved the atmosphere, food and service was excellent .. hip and at the same time up beat and energetic yet romantic. ambiance is perfect
I’ve been here 3 times (brunch and dinner) and never had a bad experience from the food/beverages to the service everything is truly spectacular. Alek and Genesis were my servers and they were professional, friendly and had incredible recommendations (I never even look at the menu because we just ask for their recommendations and order what they say). This is by far my favorite restaurant in Atlanta.
