THIS place!!!! Wow! Ordered on Uber and it was fast, warm, complete, no missing items. Everything was AMAZING!!! My new favorite BBQ restaurant or just restaurant!!! Had a hamburger, fries, smoked chicken, mac n cheese, baked beans, onion rings and pimiento cheese appetizer- all 10+!!!!
Ordered DBA BBQ for a father's day dinner. Listen, the food was amazing. We had the brisket which was so juicy and tasty, the pulled chicken and smoked lemon pepper wings, we also ordered the collards, mac n cheese and bbq creamed corn. I highly recommend this restaurant. The quality of food is awesome and the owner was amazing with walking me through with how to order online for the right portions. This is now my new favorite place.
I called and asked whether curbside pickup is a available. Was told yes, so ordered. Arrived and called restaurant several times and placed on hold each time after explaining I’m parked and waiting on order. Each time the call was ended by restaurant. Finally went in to pick up order.I was already annoyed but was looking forward to enjoying my food. I ordered a chopped brisket sandwich with mac and cheese. The brisket was all fat and I couldn’t eat the sandwich (pic attached). I get brisket can be fatty but all fat, come on. Also ordered cheddar muffins which were burnt. The mac and cheese was good. So basically I paid $16 for mac and cheese.
Excellent food! Ribs, pulled pork sandwich, even the shredded chicken nachos were perfect. The ribs were cooked perfectly. Drink selection from cocktails to beers- top notch. The service was amazing and fast! Definitely a must-try!!We weren't there for the evening/night atmosphere, but it looks like there is a trivia night and bar vibe.
The best smoked wings I have ever had! I also ordered the Archie Bunker sandwich. It was pulled pork, sweet BBQ sauce, and mac n cheese on Texas toast. Delicious! My first visit and it won't be my last for sure!
I had seen this BBQ restaurant highlighted on Food Network. So living in greater Atlanta area I knew I needed to go try it. We went yesterday mid day to beat the nighttime crowds. We were not disappointed. We sat on the porch as the natural lighting is better. It is not fancy but oh wow is the BBQ good. Four of us tried multiple meat items. Brisket, pulled pork, Brunswick stew, pastrami, etc. everything was terrific. The four sauces were each appealing. Frankly I’ve never been to a BBQ place that offers pastrami and I must say it’s the best I have ever tasted.
I used to love going to D.B.A., but I'm not sure what has happened there. The place was empty and our server would disappear. We had to ask another server to take our order and there was probably 3 other tables and other servers. I used to go and it would be slammed busy, but you would still get awesome service and amazing food. In addition to the service not being like it used to, the food has completely changed. It's still good, but it seems appearance and recipes have changed. Like I said, not sure what happened. It's definitely not my favorite BBQ spot anymore.Update: Honestly that is a terrible response, I went on a Sunday and that shouldn't matter regardless. Being a food and beverage manager myself, I would never respond in that manner to a customer. Thanks for making it easy not to go back. Incredibly disappointing.
My two experiences at DBA have been exceptional. The manager is walking around talking to and checking on clients. The service was friendly and more than timely considering how busy they were. Most importantly, the food is out of this world. The smoked wings are so good that you can't go wrong with any flavor. My personal favorites are the lemon pepper. They are easily the best wings I have ever had in my life and I'm not usually a dry rub person. The staff are more than happy to split flavors so you could order a 12 or 24 for appetizers for the table with a few flavors before getting a meal. The Reuben was also the best I've had to date. None of the flavors overwhelmed the others and the pastrami melts in your mouth. Overall, if you live anywhere within an hour drive (or more if you value good food) then this is a place you do not want to miss. I plan to come back probably weekly with new people to show them what food can really be like when it is prepared by people who are clearly passionate about what they do.
Good meats, great sauce, and absolutely great wings! Price is fair and services quick. They could use some improvement on the beer selection and maybe some of the meat choices but overall this is a great place!
This was a nice hidden little spot. The food and atmosphere were great. Decent amount of food for the price.
