I will never come back to this sub place again. I waited for my food for over 30 mins the chick at the counter over charged me for 2 kids sandwiches and 2 7.99$ subs and that came up to 40$, no combos. Publix subs taste better more toppings and meat for your dollar. I should of just went to Jimmy Johns. Their subs are small it doesn’t look large like on the photos and the lady at the counter checked the bag and she knew they only had 3 sandwiches in there but I paid for 4. I give this place a thumbs down. Horrible customer service.
Worst customer experience ever. I came here to order a simple BLT sandwich and I told the cashier whose name was Jack that I want to know provolone and he did not listen. He also has a very rude and nasty attitude. The manager needs to really see about getting rid of him because he has a bad vibe it seems kind of arrogant. I waited for 30 minutes of my sandwich even though others came after me and got their sandwiches before I did. Worst experience and I won't be back.
Service: 2.5 starsThey are incredibly slow. I was there mid afternoon when there were only a few people ahead of me and it took ages for my sub to come out. They served someone who came in and ordered after me ahead of me. It seems they knew him. My order was a cold sub so there is no way that they made his while mine was still cooking or something. The lady at the front was nice though.Food: 4 starsThe sandwich was overall good and I really liked their sauce. My only issue here was the bread which was a bit dry.Overall rating: 3.25 starsThe food was good but not worth the wait. I guess next time I am in the area I may try ordering ahead to see if that helps.
All these restaurants around going out of business and you turn me away for not having a mask when I have acquired/natural immunity (2-6x as strong as the vaccine according to the CDC MMWR Jan 28, 2022)? I wouldn't have been in there for over 15 minutes which is the criteria used to define a 'close contact's used by the CDC and all covid hotlines. I used to be happy to support this business, but I'm never eating here again. Especially after prices went up and they started skimping on ingredients at the same time a while back.
First time at this place. I’ve always heard good things but when I walked in today I was hit with the “please put your mask on” so that was my first red flag.. second I’m looking at the menu and trying to decide I ask the girl at the counter what is popular and she basically said everything was popular.. so I go with the “Sloppy Daves” I ordered it cold, which was my fault, definitely needed to be hot. I got a large and thought it was going to be a 12’ sub, ended up being 2 6 inch subs. Then when I open it, the first thing I see is a hair in my food.. so I put that one to the side and eat the other one.. the bread was hard as a rock, “like a day or two old hard and it literally scratched the roof of my mouth.. I hadn’t eaten all day so I finished it with regret.. I’m gonna go to the store and get fresh sub bread and put the ingredients in it and heat it up to see if the second has any potential. Terrible experience. If I could give it zero stars I would. Won’t be back.
The Subs are delicious and healthy! The bread tastes so fresh and GF breads was great too! Cant wait to order again.
I think some added touches to this place could make it a gem.My partner got the classic Daves and I got the Grateful Daves and had them leave the onions off.- over all the sand which was fine. The bread was crisp, and the toppings were minimal (other than the sprouts which I loved!) next time I’d add may and hot peppers to my sandwich and more tomatoes.- the joint seems it’s doing the bare minimum to stay open inside though which is unfortunate because this is a cool little spot. The soda fountain wasn’t in order and they had no cans or bottles of soda to purchase? Only a couple of chip options. We got tea and it ran out on us as we were filling.I’d go back and get my sandwich made a different way to try this place again. But from my first experience this is not my new go-to place.
My hubby and I had two yummy subs today! I had a delicious meatball sub! Best meatballs ever! Hubby had a Dave’s Dog! He gobbled it up! This was my first time at Dave’s and I will definitely go back. Hubby had been telling me about it for a long time. Highly recommend.
I ordered a Tuna Sandwich but the bread was little to hard and dry for my liking. I think I needed mayo or something on the sandwich. This is a cute place to visit if you are in the Emory village area.
Called at 8:15 to place a pick-up order. Called 3 more times and no answer. They close at 9pm. I understand wanting to get closing duties done early, but if you're open til 9, you take orders until you close, within reason. Manager/Owner should have a talk with night shift, they're usually never that busy during night time either. I should know, I worked there.
