This was my first time visiting The Continent & it was just okay…I was expecting more based on a few people reviews. The snapper was good but I had to send it back the first time because my food was not hot at all (please note, after waiting a good amount iof time to receive the food). My next issue was the vegetables that came with the snapper… a plate full of bell pepper, onions and something that almost reminds me of fennel… I definitely wasn’t expecting that but hey… My friend ordered the lamb chops and said it taste like oxtails and she didn’t like the side that came with it.my next issue is they seat you at a table with other people because of the limited seating and yea, we were seated with 4 other individuals that weren’t together.My last issue, they had comedy night & they never mentioned there was an additional fee. To our surprise it was on our bill.The comedy was just okay the host for comedy night KellyKellz was better than the actual comedians smh. But the vibe was really nice & I’m glad I was able to experience The Continent, but I don’t have to return.

I must say this restaurant was very nice ! My waiter and the hostess were sweet . The food was great . I’m giving a 3 star only because of my steak. It was flavored perfectly but overcooked . I ordered medium well and it came out super well done with no pink at all. I asked for a new one or to be substituted for another entree and the manager denied this request. My steak was 140 and I ate none of it due to it being over cooked and still paid for it . This is not the type of service I expect from a fine dining establishment. I came here for my birthday dinner and this put a damperon my experience. I still say try them out I willCome again to give it another try . I love supporting black owned business and would hopeFor a better experience on the next try.

One of the best meals I have ever had. You can tell it was cooked with love and care. The service was great! The seating arrangement wasn’t my favorite though but the food made up for it. The only surprise was the gratuity was automatically added in at 20% so beware b4 you sign your bill unless you want to add more. Usually that’s done for a large group but it was only 2 of us. Same is done for drinks at the bar. The service was great! I would definitely go back. Atlanta’s little secret ?
My Experience here has been amazing. Customer service, drinks, food, and the ambiance has met my standards. My two friends and I had the pleasure of speaking with the chef and one of the owners regarding our experience. I will be attending again. I recently visited Continent over the weekend with my sister. Continent did not disappoint. Between the great service of our waitress and taste of the food "compliments to the chef" has me craving for more. We ordered the mussels as a starter and that sauce was amazing with a kick and we split the fried snapper and that was amazing the sauce was like a coconut ish flavor and delicious.
Upon entrance, we were greeted at the resturant/lounge with welcomes, beautiful art and soothing music.The cigar lounge is a cozy waiting area, with a game of Jenga, as the host(ess) prepares your table. The dining room is cozy for couples and groups. Everyone in our group stated there food was either tender, very moist, pleasing to their palates and seasoned to perfection. We had a Beautiful experience at the Continent Restaurant & Cigar Lounge.
Date night was everything from the moment we stepped through the door until we left, the service was top notch! The drinks were so good this lightweight had 4 of them?. The food literally melted in your mouth. I love me some oxtails and I wasn’t even mad that the bones were not in my meal. So let’s talk about the oysters that I ate for my appetizer, my palate was dancing for joy. The ambience and music was on point. Once dinner was over we, moved on over to the cigar lounge where I had an amazing chocolate, vanilla, with something and something cigar? hubby enjoyed his as well and we topped it off with some tasty whiskey and cognac. I cannot forget about the staff; they are all beautiful souls. So here is what I will tell you, you must put this on your list. Don’t miss an opportunity for a great evening. Price wise, every dollar spent will be worth it!!!!
Everything was great. Karen was our waitress and she provided us with great hospitality and recommendations. We ordered drinks, starters, and a main course. Everything came out quick. The drinks were bomb and the food was amazing.
