I’ve ordered from here 4 times. 1st 2 times was Shrimp & Lobster Sauce, then Shrimp Egg Foo Young. Both times really good. I’m new to the area so I was happy to find a good Chinese restaurant.3rd time Door Dashed Shrimp & Lobster sauce, was very watery and not so great, did not eat it.Took it as a one off, everyone has off days.Today ordered Shrimp Egg Foo Young for pick up, absolutely awful. There were shrimp and some vegetables but the egg part was way off. Sweet, and almost a cake/cornbread like texture. The rice and gravy are good, but that EFY went straight in the trash.I did call, person I spoke to insist they only use egg.Well, that’s what I would expect…but not what I got sadly.Looking for a new Chinese restaurant I guess.
The customer service is bad, they are very rude. The good is Good but they need to train the host and the person who picks up the phone how to treat and talk to a customer. She was very very rude I only asked for some extra spicy mayo for my sushi and was so disrespectful. This is solid food but the customer service will drive them out of business.
Delicious as always I used to eat them when I lived in Cobb county we would order it at the office. This is my first time trying to Ponce location and also ordering sushi from them. Who knew they would have some really delicious sushi! I highly recommend them especially when you’re trying to grab some decent Chinese food in Atlanta
Overall good food but customer service could be better. Waitress was very in attentive to us.
Update: Over priced & decreased quality!! They have increased their prices to above what I think takeout Chinese should be. It is now $16.75 to pickup Chicken General Tso’s when one year ago it was $14.50. The quality has decreased too. The soup size is smaller than the standard soup container (pictured). The hot and sour soup had a jelly ball in it. The crunchies for the soup were stale. The fried rice which was an expensive $2.50 up charge was a cheap product which had no veggies in it.Original review:Enjoyed all the entres and appetizers. The breaded chicken was high quality and not just crunchy crud breading like some places & the sauce on the General Tso was the perfect balance of spicy & sweet. We got 3 appetizers which were all great. The Hunan chicken has good sauce. The chicken teriyaki is good too. Moo shoo Pork was ok. The orange chicken had quality meat and was ok too. They are very generous with the meat portions, so I might add a side of veggies next time. The vegetable spring rolls are good. The sushi would be the only thing I wouldn’t order again because the sauces were the wrong pairings. Spicy Tuna doesn’t need a big dab of Sriracha & our other roll was lathered in spicy mayo. Also skip the coconut soup & beef curry rolls. The pork egg rolls are better than the vegetable spring rolls (could use some texture). The side fried rice needs veggies.
Food was kind of OK. But presentation was bad. Tiny shrimps and uneven coloration…Looks $7 but $14. Maybe the rent is too high but then it should be $9-$10….I finished the dish since it was very small portion….Can of coke $3.
First time in. Customer service okay. Clean on the inside. Limited space for parking. Egg drop soup was okay, braised wings I probably won't get again, curry egg roll well I tried it no thank you, rice okay, sushi really good. Prices too high for what you get. I can go to a Chinese not on Ponce and pay half that price.
Horrible customer service at this location! Was placing an order via Door Dash, but needed to call to check the availability of a certain item. The lady that picked up the phone didn't bother saying hello and just told me to hold on. Then she left me there and NEVER came back to the phone!!! Meanwhile, I could hear them talking and joking around in the background, with no actual customers at the front counter. After about 8-9 minutes of waiting, someone finally picks up the phone, starts laughing and said "we forgot". The only reason I didn't hang up was because I wanted to make sure they knew I would be leaving a bad review and that I would be taking my business elsewhere. This would have been my first time ordering takeout here and so I was almost disappointed... until I saw how OVERPRICED they were anyway. If this is the kind of service they offer their customers over the phone, I certainly don't want them cooking my food!!!
Sesame shrimp is a must, this is my go to Asian restaurant, they’re on point. Try the dumplings too(fried) and they have fried ores and stuff. I’m just going in but yep. Fast and fresh to sum it up
The food was okay, if not a little under seasoned. I’m most disappointed with the price- the cheapest fried rice was around $18 after tax. I couldn’t perceive any increased quality to justify such a price difference from similar places.
