I didn't like it...not enough options on the menu ..coffee was horrible. however my wife liked it
Amazing brunch in a cool old house. Great breakfast drinks and the blueberry basil jam on biscuits is bomb. Long wait, but get on the waiting list early in the morning. Worth it.
Quaint spot… Great food… Good vibes…Friendly staff.
Came here with a group this morning, and let me tell you. This place is a cozy, service is fantastic, and the food was just spot on. I ordered the Hash Bowl after much deliberation on several items that sounded good. Not only did the food taste it as good as it looked, it exceeded it! Every single person in my party enjoyed their dish and agreed it was a great choice for our regular brunch meet !The only downside to this place is definitely the parking. But with the quality of the food and service we received, I wouldn’t dream of taking away a star on something they can’t control!
Checking out the scene at Buttermilk Kitchen. I loved the truffle potatoes and made from scratch biscuits. Follow @ServingLooksATL ? for more tasty spots!
Me, my husband, and my daughter went to Buttermilk Kitchen this morning for breakfast. It is a very cute little restaurant. We was seated after maybe a 5 minute wait. The waiter was awesome. He was training and they both did so good. Checked on us several times and gave great recommendations. The food came out pretty fast and was very very good. We all enjoyed our means and drinks. I had a boozy blue drink and it tasted amazing. And I also had the hash bowl which was very flavorful. My daughter had French toast and a lemonade and she said it was perfect. My husband had the chicken and pancake and he said it was delicious. And the biscuits literally just fell apart as you ate them. They were on point. Go check this place out!
My daughter and I went to Buttermilk Kitchen on a Friday at lunchtime. It was packed and we didn't want to wait for a table so we sat at the bar. So glad we did! The bartender was friendly and provided a great experience. We will definitely return on our next trip to Atlanta. The lemon mayo on the BELT sandwich was very lemony, so I skipped eating the top piece of bread. My daughter's pancake was the most delicious pancake I've ever tasted!
If you search for the best places to have southern breakfast in Atlanta, you will find Buttermilk Kitchen in the top list. We went for breakfast on a weekend and seeing the number of people there, it seemed like a popular spot. The restaurant is in a house and the parking is limited but they have multiple nearby spots where you can park.We were promptly greeted at the gate and were told that there was a wait of 15 mins. There were multiple sections inside and they do have outdoor seating as well.In the coffee menu, we wanted to have cappuccino but they only serve black coffee, so we ordered that. We had Hash BrownFritters, Folded Egg Frittata, Chicken Biscuit and Buttermilk Pancakes. All the food that we had here was delicious. The Hash Brown Fritters were crispy and tasty. We highly recommend having the soft and yummy Buttermilk Pancakes here. The servers were prompt and courteous. Upon receiving the check, we found that they added 5% extra for covering the insurance of the employees working there.Overall, a nice breakfast restaurant. We will be going there again to try other things on their menu.
Had a mother/daughter date and we decided on brunch at this restaurant..the wait time can be long but the food is amazing. We tried a variety of items from the menu and loved it all. Got the French toast; Truffle potatoes; pancakes with buttermilk chicken; Cheese grits with chicken sausage and eggs. And the famous biscuits of course. ?
Worth the hype. Just wait in line and enjoy the vibe because once you get inside, an amazing brunch is waiting for you. Don’t forget to order biscuits.
