I went to Bulldogs twice, once @ 10:00 and then later @ 11:30. the first time was good but the second time was great. Friendly bartenders and other patrons. Throughly enjoyed it. I now know when to go ?. Beautiful people.
My daughter and I were out for Mother's Day in downtown Atlanta and we were treated so unkindly by several restaurants and refused service bc my daughter was wearing slides. Mind you, they were Michael Kors and other people were dressed far more casually than we were but I digress. After we were turned away from the last restaurant, there were people standing outside of Bulldogs who saw how we were being treated and they invited us to come over and have fun with them. Let me tell you, we are not Gay but NOT ONE person discriminated against us and in fact, showed us such a good time, that I wouldn't mind going back. It's a rare thing in today's society to be made welcome anywhere with so much hate and division but if you want a place where you can feel at home, Bulldogs is IT.
Great night club! Good music… cool people….I love the ATL
The bulldog dj are trash and they only wanna serve the bi community and also the straight and bi community is very racially to blk Americans. And they dnt give tip back
I’m from out of town with a Pennsylvania ID in the gentleman at Bulldogs bar charge me $10 to get it before 7 o’clock. Brent this is Unacceptable capitalizing on foreigners!!! Online they say that it’s a free injury or under five dollars what happened to that review…Trying to find a Home club or bar in this is it thanks that I receive I will never ever come back to bulldogs you can smoke and I gotta pay to get itDo you know what I mean by smoke I feel like if you can’t smoke you shouldn’t have to pay!!
It's the longest standing black gay club in Atlanta but with that being said, it's definitely not what it used to be in the late 90s and early 2000s. Black gay nightlife in Atlanta as a whole has gone downhill without Traxx, Loretta's, 708, The Palace, The Otherside, Fusion, Phase 1 and the Eagle. What I do respect is this owner preserving it's history and not selling due to the pressure of condominium builders who is putting up empty highrises in every open inch of land in Midtown. I have mad respect for him and for that I hope Bulldogs remains open for another 40 plus years!
Tried ordering water after the bar stop serving alcohol and was denied by the outside bar tender in the very back. You would think for the safety of your patrons you would be willing to serve water for them to sober up a bit. This bar tender was absolutely trash
Although I like the music and the food at this bar, the patrons and staff are usually rude and hostile if you not their cup of tea. I would recommend the bar to anyone that cares about the safety and respectability. This is the worst bar of color I've ever patronized. If you like drama, envy, attitude and ratchetness, this is the bar for you.
It smells in there I think they should rebuild the bathroom but I had a good time tho
Bulldogs is very affordable entry fee usually five dollars or under and the drinks are very strong I like the fact their drinks are not water down compared to other bars and clubs I’ve been to previously where they charge you $20 or more for entry fee plus paying for drinks and the drinks are watered down but not bulldogs their drinks are never watered down always strong and very friendly bartenders
