The food was way too Salty and over-priced. The simple menu items like Plantins were extremely drenched in oil as if they never allowed the pan to get hot before adding the food into it. There waitress was the only one working up front, and shouldn't be faulted for the food. It was confusing on whether you should be seated, or find your own spot. I believe there is potential, but if the food can't carry the restaurant, then I'm good.

Such delicious meals.. it's even good to know that the owner cooks the meals when he's around. I was most surprised today the 29th of June (while waiting for my meal) to know he had arrived yesterday the 28th of June from his home country (Nigeria) and resumes today to cook for his customers.. He's also a very friendly being.. He asks about your thoughts on how the meal tastes so that way he's aware of how better to serve you.. I appreciate it all. Thank you Mr. Buka and the Buka Team... Atlanta.. ??????????

The food I ate at the restaurant kept me on a happy mood for a long time and my friends got tired of me hyping the experience.Food was really delicious and affordable. I ate the pounded yam and egusi soup as well as the amala and gbegiri with ewedu (my friend and I ordered different meals and ate each halfway and exchanged just so we could taste both). I was surprised when the meals came with 3 pieces of meat (one beef, tripe and cow leg). I struggled to finish it up. Considering that African food ingredients are rare commodities, I expected that the soup would be too little and rationed, it was in fact abundant. The environment is neat, staff were orderly and welcoming and the owner was quite nice. The highlight was the gallery at the entrance. If given the opportunity, I’d visit over and over again and taste everything on the menu. Great place!

The best Nigerian Restaurant in Atlanta hands down! The food was amazing I got pounded yam and egusi soup. Everyone was so friendly. I will be coming back for sure!!

Owners have a history of trying to bully people to silence them. The company is unprofessional and obviously does not know how to PROPERLY dispose of food. Definitely wouldn’t risk eating here who’s to say your food hasn’t been sitting out all day.

One of the best Nigerian restaurants I have been to. My husband ordered the jollof rice and beef. I ordered the Edo Riro with pounded yam and beef. The food came relatively fast and was so tasty. Every time I visit I try to make it to Buka 2.

This restaurant is amazing. They don’t make you feel bad or rushed for not knowing enough about Nigerian food to make a decision on what to get lol. They help you through the menu and make suggestions based on that. They’re so polite. Their waitress, Franca is so polite and helpful. You should really bring your family or do an event here. It’s very nice.

First time trying African food it was amazing. I highly recommend eating here. Staff and owner are above and beyond great . They check on all their customers and really caring. Can’t wait to come back try different dishes.

Wonderful man serving! Wonderful customers, it was me and my boyfriend’s first time , the customers were very polite and welcoming as well as the staff(well there was only one man serving everyone) we got the egusi w assorted meat and eru w chicken. My boyfriend loved his as well as I did

Omg!!!! The egusi soup with fish is sooooo good. It's just the right amount of spice. The flavors just dance in my mouth. Literally the best thing I ever tastes. This man is getting all of my money. I now go at least once a week. Haven't been able to try anything else because this dish is so perfect.
