I don't usually do this review thing but... uh.... HOLY MOLY! God bless the chef. The cheesecake, the apple pie, the pecan pie, the custard is all to die for. But the cheesecake tho. It's NY Cheesecake. Not that creamy fake stuff everyone else serves everywhere. It's thicker than Meghan The Stallion and Cardi B playing a game of twister. It's delicious. Best ever.
So I ask for a slice of cake got it was told it was $5.49 they charge me 6.49 which is funny not going to ask for the dollar back cause it’s not no big deal y’all might have needed it more than I did but be honest this why ppl are not buying no more making there own first time going and never going back
Horrible. I tried this place twice. The first time it was banana pudding and it was way too thick and sweet and only had 4 cookies in it.This time I tried the sweet potato pie, my boyfriend tried the red velvet cake and my son tried a apple pie. They were all nasty. The sweet potato pie tasted like sweet potatoes and water the crust was the only thing okay. My son and boyfriend both didn’t like their picks either.
The upside down pineapple cake is heaven!!! Soo moist and perfect amount of sweet. ?
Coconut cake is delicious!
I ordered, a slice of cake, and a cupcake. The cake tasted like it’s been sitting out for a few days
First time here and there confections are very good. I tried the delicious brownies and the coconut cake. Both worth it. I wanted to try everything in there showcase. Everything looks delicious. I'm trying the macarons next. Not sure how long they've been in Curb Market, but I'm glad they are there.
Products were not good and the red velvet cake picture online is a bright red but the red velvet I received was dark and dense not good, the cheese cake had little lumps in it not a strong cheesecake flavor. not good and the peanut butter cookie does not taste better than my own not good.I'm sure they are nice people but the items I bought (red velvet cake, regular cheesecake and peanut butter cookie) were not good. Wanted to provide a honest review for others to get another perspective.
This was my first experience trying a red velvet cupcake and red velvet cheesecake from BCO. Their display is quite catching and I admire the vast selection of sweets however, the red velvet cheesecake and red velvet cupcake left a lot to be desired. The cheesecake portion was warm. I would almost dare to say slightly hot. It wasn’t overly sweet, which is how I prefer my cheesecake, but the texture reminded me of a whipped curdled custard with very little cheesecake flavor. It wasn’t to eat pleasant so I threw most of the cheesecake portion in the trash. The red velvet cake portion was slightly better, but the edges were slightly burnt and it appeared to be heavily oiled or had a lot of simple syrup. I’m not sure of which. Finally, the red velvet cupcake had a hard buttercream frosting piped on top. I was disappointed, I always expect a cream cheese frosting, but I should have asked one of the kind ladies at the counter before purchasing. The cake itself tasted old and gave me a odd semblance of play-doh when it came to the flavor. At $10.27 for the two items their prices are reasonable, but I don’t think I’ll be a returning customer of BCO. If I do I’ll steer away from the red velvet and cheesecake options.
My boyfriend was the recipient of a red velvet cake with no-bake cheesecake filling for his birthday and I just came to say it was SO DELICIOUS! The perfect ratio of cake to frosting/filling and overall just so tasty. I also want to mention that the individual who ordered the cake for him said that the customer service she received was above and beyond. Can’t wait to take my business here to try some more of the goodies they offer.
