I ordered the Shrimp and Grits ($20) and my friend ordered the Steak and Eggs ($27). We split a half portion of the French Toast ($8). Everything was delicious and worth the price! Portions were large and filling. My dish was a bit too rich and creamy for me but that’s just my personal preference. Gave 4 stars because the service was just okay. Nice people, but not super attentive. Would definitely come again though!

Delicious food! Awesome service and friendly staff! Valet parking for the win!
Grits were really good. Beyond sausage was tasty, a tad dry but still good. Toast was just right.. The wait time for food was super short and the place was full. That was huge. I was prepared for almost a thirty minute wait.
Didn't give this 5 stars due to the price paid for the food we received. Everything else was great, service, food, and location. Our waitress was professional and responsive and gave great suggestions from the menu. All the food we had was good, especially the Soul Rolls. The mixture of yams, Mac n cheese, greens, and sauce work well together and the taste was not expected. The location is convenient, but parking is a small nuance since you have to find one of the scarce street parking spots or Valet in the parking garage for $5; which is reasonably priced.
Went Saturday morning for breakfast before 8AM and by the time we left the place around 9AM the place was packed with people waiting outside. The food, drinks, staff, and atmosphere were all great. We had soul rolls, salmon croquettes & eggs, and yard bird (chicken & waffles) which all seemed to be popular options at the restaurant. What I thought was really neat were the drink options. The non-alcoholic cocktails in the front and center of the menu, and my wife ordered the grape aventus (pictured with pomegranate on top) which she really enjoyed. I had the peach basil iced tea which had a texture that I wasn't expecting but was great nevertheless.
Another day in Atlanta cuisine. My husband and I are coming to terms with the idea that restaurants in Atlanta are for experiences only. We were not wowed in any kind of way.The pancakes were big and pretty but I wouldn’t say they were worth the $25 or so that they cost. As you can see in the pictures, we didn’t eat them. The texture is different than expected and we didn’t like the bourbon syrup; maybe because we’re not drinkers. My husband did like the chicken. My shrimp and grits were already room temperature when I got them so I didn’t get to try them hot. Therefore, they were just okay. They did have a good taste but I’ve definitely had better. My husband had the strawberry lemonade and it was warm so he didn’t really enjoy it. I had coffee and that may have been the best part of my meal. It was good. Our server, Darius, was nice. The atmosphere was nice. We ended up paying right at $75 for the food and over $100 for tip and valet included. A very expensive breakfast. We probably won’t be going back but we make the most of our experiences while we’re there.
If you're looking for a great breakfast spot in Atlanta, look no further. Breakfast at Barney's has everything you need. We were originally lured their by their 24 carat gold pancakes, which were great. But so was everything else. They seem perpetually busy and nobody seems to mind waiting. We didn't have to wait too long for a table, but the crowd remained steady throughout the Friday morning. I can only imagine what it'd be like on the weekends. For a literally gilded brunch, this is a great spot.
I really enjoyed this restaurant! Will the bartender get rave reviews from me. He was attentive and knowledgeable made our experience top notch!!!! The cook made my lamb just right and that is saying a lot from me. I will highly recommend you try it
Amazing food. Great fried green tomatoes. The Queen City Shrimp & Grits were absolutely delicious and were an easy favorite! The Rich Boy had very tasty fried shrimp and lobster with a huge portion. Great atmosphere and will definitely be back to try more menu items.
