Kind of packed at loud when we got there, the back seating area wasn't open so we sat outside of the front door. They had giant fans out there which was cool. Pretty neat place, we only got beers, not food. My brother who does not care for IPA's got their double and liked it. I also liked it a lot. Bartender was nice. Would recommend to a friend.
I was lucky to make it to this place out of the blue and to be honest was one of the best breweries during my visit to Atlanta.Service is awesome, staff is super kind and goes beyond for you.Food is delicious, ten out of ten.Beer variety is wide, as their name hits Bold Monk is a brewery with Dubbels, Trippels and such, however you may also find some modern stuff.A must for beer lovers!
The food is consistently underwhelming, especially from a value perspective. Sure Iâll eat a subpar burger for like $13-$14, but once we get into the $17-$18s for a subpar burger Iâm like meh. Probably just go, drink a beer and head out. Looks like a good place to have an event, but idk I havenât ever attended an event there.
usually love this place, and i'll still go back -- friendly servers, great atmosphere - but the food wasn't great this time around.
The food was fantastic but they were behind on seating reservations so we were seated 30m past our reserved time. Once we sat, it took 40m to recurve our drinks & appetizers after ordering them. The restaurant was crowded so these issues may just be a result of how busy they were. Loved the bookstore upstairs and the outside area- at least thereâs plenty to do as you wait.
Bold Monk has incredible beers, but I was very disappointed with the service my wife and I received. We came for lunch and decided to sit in the outdoor table area. We ended up waiting 30 minutes and our waiter never came back, not even to bring us waters. Ended up leaving and never got to order.
We chose to eat in the beer garden outside. Our server Emily was fantastic. The beer was great and the food was delicious.
Great spot, friendly staff, tasty food. Mussels and Pizza is a great combo.

Everything was very good. Bold Monk is one of our go-to restaurants and breweries. The only negative is the 83 health score received in February 2021. I hope on your next inspection that you will up your score into the 90âs (or even 100). I suspect that inspection should take place soon.
