(Monroe dr location) Initially very excited to get a snow ball on a hot day and immediately changed after entering the store. No greeting from female employee with blue hair and rude attitude when checking out. The snow cone was great and decided to leave a tip anyway. I asked for change for $5 after purchasing and was told “no I can’t do that”. After a awkward moment I asked “can you not open your register??” She said “no I can’t give you change for $5, banks aren’t open on the weekends and I can’t give away my change” I left stunned as this was all to leave the store a tip.
Not only is the business owner bad at communicating, he does not want his business to do well. I managed his store for a few months. I asked some legitimate questions about the job description and business operations, then was fired promptly after. I was removed from the staff after the owner notified the entire team "I quit" which is a bold face lie. Now he is unlawfully with-holding payment information for hours I worked prior to the incedent. All of this came from me genuinely trying to help and grow the business with a proven track record and history of being able to do so.
These are wonderful, perfect for this weather. I don't feel guilty, it's just shaves ice, and flavors. Lol The reason for 4 stars, they need more help. The line is always SUPER long and often there is only one person working. I'll definitely be back.
I’m absolutely in love with this place!!! The snow cones are delicious and took me back to the old snow cones at Six Flags days. They were out of some inventory like the condensed milk & ice cream the first day we went, but we went back the next day and they had everything restocked. I have to give this place a 5 star review because even on my first visit, my snow cone was still delicious. They have so many choices, you can easily find something else and still leave satisfied!
The restaurants attire was mediocre and poor but the endless amounts of flavors for snowballs made up for it, i unfortunately got ice cream as a substitution for not wanting one(worst decision of my life) the ice cream was unflavored and just tasted like milk the only thing making up for the flavor was the caramel drizzle i had asked for upon it . Will not be coming back for it.
The very first time I visited here, it was exciting and a decent experience minus the parking. I took more of the alley way and started using that route which is helpful, but the last couple of times that I visited, the customer service was lacking. No greeting or acknowledgement upon entering and when I was ready to order, I had to asked the seated young lady with the hat puked over her eyes if she was ready for me. She spoke barely above a whisper and it was difficult to communicate since the music was so loud. The song? FNF by Glozilla... I am glad it was the edited version but it didn't give family friendly middle of a heat wave in Georgia vibes. I did earn $2 off with their rewards program and my child likes the snow cones but I can get a slushie at the QT and have the same effect for much cheaper. They do have a ton of flavor options though and you can create some interesting combos. That's a plus for them. The parking lot is small and it is hard to get into if your coming from the direction of Ponce. That's not their fault, just an observation that's worth noting. They have a hand drawn map that'll help you navigate around some of the connection. Right now I do not plan to come back anytime soon, Bruster's is right down the street and the Ben and Jerry's location isn't too far either. They have cold treats. Plus, places like QT and fast food locations have slushies and icees, you can get the same vibe for cheaper and also get more product.
So I ate most of this before taking a photo. It is so good! The ice melts in your mouth with an occasional ice chunk. But it is so good and I would go every day if I could!!!
Nice lil Big Easy Snowball spot ducked off on Monroe drive right behind the Circle K gas station! Awesome and wide selection of flavors, toppings, and more !! There's also snowball flavors and creations created by the staff which are really good ! The banana pudding stuffed with ice cream topped with condensed milk and a good ole wafer is superb ?? The red velvet ?? ?? Service could be a little quicker, but there's some work being done on the store so maybe that's why. Regardless, it's worth a visit ‼️
Atlanta, GA - Monroe Dr I been coming here for over two years now. Today I walk in, I guess the owner is having a bad day and he discouraged his employee to put enough juice in the icee and the iced is still all ice in the middle. I ask for more juice because the juice didn't even touch the middle. I know what its suppose to look like. I ask him and he say you have to pay extra. Okay I don't mind paying extra. Just acknowledge the fact that you messed up and own it. His behavior and manners got real aggressive and he turned his back on me, my niece, and nephew as if he didn't care while literally turning his back. What a waste of money going forward and I do not recommend anyone going here anymore. He treats his employees like they are below the earth and I've witnessed this over the years. Not a good place to support and represent The City of Atlanta. I am very disappointed and will be filing a complaint and having the City to look into this. No where does it state or it's posted that you have to pay an extra 75 cents to get your icee made correctly.
I came here on 4/4/2022 at approx 17:30. The place was closed. The sign on the door says their hours for Monday is 12-9. A sign on the door would have sufficed if they were closing early. They’re snow balls are good, but this is poor customer service and business practice.
