Omg! I'm hooked! The food was mouthwatering even though I arrived 10 minutes late to pick up my online order. Let me tell you that salmon eggroll is crack! Excuse the reference but YES! It is THAT addictive! I just want to eat them over and over and bathe in the sauce! The same goes for the Mardi Gras wings! I can't believe I've walked by here for three years and never went inside. It was definitely my loss, but I was lost but now I am found, and I see the light! I'll definitely be going back for a cheese steak. I know it MUST be good!!!
An absolute fantastic first impression! The ONLY reason I gave 4-stars was the fact there was no salmon... I really wanted that Salmon Philly, bad. The Traditional Chicken Philly gave me a real taste of Philly... but that Beef Egg Roll, had me like Aladdin on a magic carpet ride to a whole new world!!! I will become a regular!
Can’t tell why I have 4 wonton wrappers on one egg roll or why it’s burnt or why there is no cheese through out. The hype is over so now the service sucks and food too. Disappointed. And there were no salmon egg rolls. Great.
The Traditional Philly was below average and the Chicken Philly was okay but needed more seasonings. The sandwiches were very soggy. The bread didn't hold up well with the toppings. The egg rolls was definitely the better way to go!!! Yes, the egg rolls were delicious.
Food was fire ?. No bathroom to use. Can't eat in. Parking is a hot mess!!! Worth the visit for our 1st time in ATL. I got the eggrolls. 1 of each beef, chicken & salmon. My daughter loved the wings! Which since we're here for her Birthday was important to me!!
If you like a Salty Cheesesteak Sandwich this is the place for you. No matter how many times I have instructed them not to put that salty seasoning on my sandwiches, THEY DO IT ANYWAY!!!. I'm from Philly, I know Cheesesteaks, owned my store decades ago. When I customer instructs NOT TO ADD SALT AND THEY DO IT ANYWAY! Someone is not paying attention!!!!
I went on a weekday just to avoid any long lines (if any). The service was good (take out only), and the food was flavorful as well. Fries have a nice seasoning on them (highly addictive). Dave's Way Philly's are pretty damn big compared with the customized philly's (Steak, Chicken, or Salmon Philly's), and the wings are pretty good as well... Parking may be a challenge, depending on the time of day (Downtown). But overall, Dave's is not bad at all...
Today was my first time visiting Big Dave’s , I ordered a Big Dave’s cheesesteak Dave’s way and my sandwich was very salty very different experience for me.the staff that was cooking the food no one was wearing mask and the whole time they were touching the equipment and touching all the other things in the kitchen they never change gloves not one time and then they reached to handle your food. It was so dissatisfying that I tried calling them back to let them know and no one answered the phone.Ended up throwing it away, $20 wasted.Want be going back
Forced internet ordering through door dash only, painful. Emailed and told order was ready. Got there and they had no record of the order. Communicating with the counter worker was very difficult due to two separate very loud music services and muffled masks.Took 40 minutes of waiting after the "convenience" of online ordering. Then in great hopes, finally got to the food. Salt, salt, salt. absolutely awful, couldn't even eat it all.
I've been wanting to come here for so long and finally got the chance to. And it was worth the wait! Huge Portion size food, quality meat etc. but most importantly, the customer service. The energy. manager Miso took my order & was extremely nice & explained menu for us first timers. With that being said...... I WILL BE BACK. & if you are reading this. What are you waiting for. GO :)
