Delicious food! Can’t go wrong here. The owner was very helpful in explaining the food dishes. Would come back anytime.

This past weekend we visited The Works Upper Eastside. For those of you unfamiliar, it's essentially an upscale food court: it's a conglomerate of various restaurants and vendors. There's so many amazing options to choose from but Baked Kitchen definitely pulled us in. My group of friends and I were unfamiliar with South African cuisine, but we were approached by one of the owners who introduced himself and walked us through the menu and he completely sold us. They specialize in South African street food. We all selected the SOSATIES which is a two tender lamb kabobs served over a bed of rice with a side of Mac and cheese and this special South African hot sauce that is actually more of a chutney that is packed full of flavors. The lamb cubes on the kabob was so tender and flavorful (nothing gamey about them) and they were sandwiched between grilled onions and each end of the skewer had a chargrilled apricot. The Mac and cheese was creamy and decadent, there was a nice assortment of pickled red onions on the side.As stated above, I would describe the hot sauce as more of a chutney as it's full of flavor and not so much heat. All the flavors married so well. From the food to the customer service and the willingness of the owner to take the time to walk us through the menu and explain things to us, I would 100% recommend. It's always nice to be culturally well rounded in what you eat and I now have street food from a new country to add to my repertoire of good items I love.

Had the Peri-Peri chicken and fries (owner's suggestion) and was blown away. Absolutely delicious! Will be back soon.

Good selection of South African dishes here, mostly hot dogs. Also they have some good pot pies, which I tried. Had the curry chicken pot pie. Had a lot of flavor and was filling. I'll be back to try more. Owners very nice!

Tried South African food for the first time. I’m glad that it was this place. Hands down the best thing that I’ve tried in a long time. The chef’s father explained everything to me and let me taste the sauce. I got the Chicken Peri Peri Skewers. Highly recommend!!!!

Would have passed by this place unless the owner didnt start explaining me what southafrican food is. I am glad i stopped and listened and ordered the chicken peri peri skewers. Tastes great. Filling but not overpowering. Wild rice is nice and mac and cheese was really exceptional. One of the best mac and cheese i have had ever.

After wrapping up showing a buyer some nearby new construction, I decided to introduce him to the many lunch options that have popped up over the last six months inside The Chattahoochee Food Works. After walking through to consider the options we chose Baked Kitchen. Both of us went with The Chicken Peri. It was delicious and buss'n with flavor but the fries were room temperature - a surprise seeing we waited over 15 minutes, with no customers in front of us.. The small sandwich and handful of fries was a bit pricy for 15 bucks. Delicious though.. We'll return to try that mac n cheese next.Stop BUY and give them a try.. Let them know #RealtorRob with Keller Williams Intown referred you.#RealtorRobslist ? ?

Enjoyed the Chicken Skewer with a grilled ?. On a busy Friday night service was pretty quick.

Mac and cheese is awesome and has that browned top that we all crave. Great flavors in the Burri plate as well.

The Peri Dawg was amazing! NOT A HOT DOG! Toasted lobster roll with guac spread stuffed with grilled Peri Peri chicken topped with melted cheese, bacon bits, Peri Peri sauce, ranch, crunch onions, diced cucumber and chives served with beer battered fries.
