Heard that Antico pizza was the best in Atlanta so i had to try it.Got The interior is rustic with open kitchen. You can see all the pizzas getting made!! We ordered the margarita and pomodorini pizza. I will say this is a really good pizza!! The ingredients taste extremely fresh and the dough was chewy and wonderful. also recommend trying there spicy sauce it was amazing. I will definitely have to come back to try some of these other pizzas because they sounded delicious.
Of course the food is the priority and it was excellent - great pizzas. Sadly our experience was compromised by an utterly miserable woman on the till - your are the first touchpoint for the brand and she did you no favours. I would add that the serving staff int he cooking area were charming.
Antico is unpretentious, and yes they have limited pizza options, but they are upfront about that. They make the dough the previous day and use it the next which helps develop flavor. I do the same when making dough at home with 00 flour. The seating is family or communal seating which is a nice departure and you order at the counter. I was originally hesitant about the price, but the pie is not a 12", but HUGE. If you want your favorite toppings then go to Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Domino's or one of the places you are most familiar with not a real Napoli style pizza.
Absolutely nailed it! Fantastic pizza. I'm not sure I've every had better Neapolitan's pizza, including when I was in Naples. No joke. This place has their execution down. Perfect pie every time. Not soggy or overdone. Simple pies with great flavors, cooked perfectly every time. And all served in an unassuming warehouse with wood tables near the kitchen. There's a only a handful of pies on the menu alongside three calzones. If I were to give this place a knock, it's a lack of options for their salads which are pre-made in two sizes with an included oil and vinegar dressing. Basically grab and go, which is fine, but fairly utilitarian and could be improved. You can order from a selection of canned and bottled drinks including beer and wine. But the star is the pizza, which is why people are here, and when you're this good at what you do, that's all you need.
We’ve eaten here twice and had the most amazing pizza!! Brings back authentic pizza memories from our trip to Italy!! Must, must, must try!!
Not a child friendly ambiance, very young adult/college kid dinning. Delicious food, everything was fresh, flavorful and aesthetically pleasing. Worth the $142 we spent on us and the kids. Might be back without them.
