Excellently prepared meal, which tasted delicious! There was a nice, relaxing ambiance in the restaurant, in addition to friendly service. Would definitely recommend the grilled pork, phō, and tofu spring rolls!
Authentic Vietnamese food They did forget my mango on my mango salad but other than that it was delicious
I think this place is relatively new (as of June of 2022). I have been to this area occasionally (mostly to eat at The Vortex) and do not recall seeing it before. Also, I noticed that they had a chalkboard sign near the door that stated "We finally have alcohol!", which is usually something that happens a month or so after opening... We dined here for lunch on a Sunday, so street parking was free. We had to park a couple of blocks away on 7th Street. There appeared to be some pay lots in the area also. While we were there, they seemed to be doing slightliy more take-out business than dine-in. We got seated promplty and our server came by after giving us some time to look over the menu. This restaurant is predominantly Vietnamese food (they seemed to have a variety of pho and bahn-mi). They also have some other Asian dishes (Pad Thai, for one, which I enjoyed). My wife got some chicken based dish. Prices were higher than a corresponding meal in the suburbs, but they have to pay midtown rent. I'd consider returning here if I were in the area.
Got beef pho takeout. Being some of the most expensive pho in midtown I was really disappointed in the portion size, small bits of greens, and 4 small slices of beef. Day and pho king medium gives so much more.Giving the other ratings, I’m hoping this was a mistake.
Really delicious Vietnamese fare here. I had shrimp spring rolls & the lemongrass beef w/ white rice. Super good carryout. I may eat in next time as the atmosphere is clean and inviting.(photos show 1 of the 2 spring rolls cut in half and only 1/2 the lemongrass beef & rice that I was served)
We ordered takeout here last night and enjoyed our dinner. Had a craving for vegetarian banh mi- so we ordered the tofu version here. We liked the freshness of the ingredients but overall thought it lacked sauce/ flavor. We also ordered a side of their peanut sauce and I ended up adding some for a little umph which helped some. Tried a side portion of both the fried rice and garlic noodles as well. Garlic noodles were BOMB- great comfort food but kind of hard to mess up (literally a lo mein style noodle with garlic and oil/butter). Fried rice was quite bland, but with added soy sauce was good. Great portion sizes. Overall felt the flavors could use some improvement but did enjoy the quality of the food! We’d probably return for dine in as the ambiance looked lovely inside.
Tried Vietnamese cuisine for the first time. Liked both the Chicken Pho and Spring Rolls (the latter isn't fried, wish I had known that before ordering).
Everything
They offer a good variety of Vietnamese dishes along with other Asian infusion items! My favorite is the Claypot Combo, Pho Filet Mignon, Shaking beef and Grilled pork chop! I say they nailed the Pork Chop flavor because it tastes exactly how it would taste in Vietnam! Waitstaffs are also so nice, welcoming and helpful when I have questions regarding their items! The wait is a tad long sometime when they’re at their rush hour, but they said, “Nothing good comes easy!” I definitely come back and refer them to all of my friends!
it's kind of fancy dining but the food always tastes good. the eggplant and shaking beef is very good and so are the clay pots. they have a special menu that's behind the counter so remember to look at that too if you want something special
