The is a great place to stop in for lunch, to grab things for a picnic or concert at a park, or to find interesting and fresh ingredients. The bakery is also delicious, definitely do not miss the little chocolate pecan cookies they have tucked behind the counter and they sell by the pound. I occasionally find very fresh olive oil here as well. Take a break from shopping and stop in for something good.
The baked goods and sandwiches are really excellent here, which they should be, given the price. The almond croissants are fantastic. The coffee is disappointing, and they don't have any proper cups. The big problem are the workers who, despite the large number of them, are slow and act like they are working in a pharmacy. It took them 15 minutes to get me a sandwich—that was already made!--all they had to do was heat it up, while they chatted among themselves, stood around, and one was busy making herself a sandwich and snacks. They do not work as a team, and seem to think that snootiness is a great quality to have.
It has a lovely market style ambiance. We got a pesto chicken sandwich and roast beef sandwich with coffee and a hot chocolate. Also for to go are 2 blueberries muffins and 1 Danish cheese bread. ...Price is at expensive side. ...Customer service was good. ...The ready made sandwiches is healthy side kind. The pastries was delicious. ...The place is 8 mins walk from Crown Plaza.
In a nutshell: I loved this place!!! a true bakery with fresh bread and croissants and pastries... fresh coffee and a very pleasant outdoor area to just enjoy your java, have a chat with a friend or conduct a business meeting (which was my case). The outdoor area is protected by some screens, to break the wind or keep the pollen out, which was very welcomed as we’re in the season for it. For me it was a great finding: a bakery shop right outside the perimeter area in Atlanta. Selection and variety of bread is good (at least from my perspective), personnel at the store was very friendly and offered me options, prices are reasonable and there’s ample parking space right outside, as part of a little shopping mall. In addition to “bread and coffee” there’s a selection of other items, even some little party trays that you may want to bring home in case you’re entertaining. Located right outside the perimeter, is very accessible and easy to go to. Not only that I recommend the place when looking for a nice breakfast experience or a mid-afternoon sweet indulgence, but I already included it into my good list and will definitely come back next time I'm in town. Recommended 100%.
Great bakery. Solid selection. They have prepared meals and sandwiches made to order and coffee.. Fun Sunday morning spot. Worth the stop.
Awesome! You must stop in to see the wonderful selection yourself. My new go to bakery. Its a great way to start off a sunny ? Sunday morning.
Ever go to the Apple store, where those snooty little people expect you to know their routine and to wait for them to say you may buy something? That was Alons today. Went there to get a couple of sandwiches to have for a quick bite for dinner. Asked for a roast beef and a pastrami. Sorry, we stopped serving pastrami a long time ago. Well, it's on your on-line menu. Well, sorry. Ok give me two roast beef sandwiches then. No obvious place to sit and wait, so I parked myself on the corner of a table by the fellow I just ordered from. This, after getting one of those flip screens that asks how much I want to tip the person who has done nothing. Lucky to hear my name called in the back of the restaurant, so I guessed the drill is that I should have waited back there (that iphone is one of our less expensive ones, don't you want something better?). Just had the sandwich. Tasteless. Will not go back.
First and last time customer. Ordered a sandwich from the back bar, they messed it up which is fine, but the woman working said it wasn’t wrong, got annoyed and flung the sandwich. Second sandwich was still wrong but I was over it. The bar area in the main dining space fills their “artisanal” bottles of water with tap water where they WASH DIRTY PLATES AND CUPS! Also staff doesn’t wash hands in between refilling bottles and washing dishes including food plates. Disgusting. You can see pictures dirty coffee cups next to the water bottles they refill in the same small sink.Food is just okay and the layout is confusing.
I love this place. What's to say, the crew is strong and kind, the food is amazing and it's an inviting and warm vibe always. I refuse to try other locations. I hear terrible things. But this Perimeter crew has all the sauce! Very special people who understand customer service.
Had a good time visiting this bakery. They have both pastries and fresh baked bread. You can also get prepared salads and small portions along with breakfast items or sandwiches. Prices are fair with the area and definitely a nice place to get any bakery items.
