We go to Alma Cocina regularly and they always have friendly and attentive service. On this particular visit, service was once again outstanding. However, the food disappointed in this instance. The salmon was not very good and the dish was served with tomato broth and fava beans despite a request for those items to not be included. The manager waived the cost of the salmon, which was extremely nice. Having been to Alma Cocina many times, I have concluded that the best bet is to stick with amazing tacos and reliable appetizers. I loved a trout I had there several months ago, but the salmon was a letdown. They have a great vibe and it is certainly worth a visit when you are in Buckhead.
I had a great time at Alma, everything was wonderful. The food is delicious, try the avocado salsa. The naranjarita was so good I had to have 4 of them. The staff is amazing, shout outs to Blake, Abby, Lane and Vanessa for making my night the best.
Holy Mole!!! Y’all, when I tell you I had to restrain myself from licking the plate, it’s not an exaggeration. Get the chicken mole. Get it and get it now. Extremely flavorful and actually authentic mole. The Mexican street corn is some of the best I’ve ever had. The empanadas literally melted in my mouth. Every bite from start to finish was divine.Gorgeous space with very friendly and attentive staff. Came for lunch and will definitely be returning for dinner service.
I really enjoyed this place. Food was delicious. The ambiance and the service was perfect. Went on a Friday night with a reservation( highly recommend to make one) Started off with spicy margaritas and some guacamole. Guacamole was very plain and had no seasoning to it. Although their street tacos and esquites was the best. Ended with tres leches with a coconut flavor to it which was amazing. Definitely coming back. They do parking validation to the terminus garage.
The food was really good, and the atmosphere was very laid back. Our server was very hospitable and the one mistake he made he over compensated to ensure that our needs were met. The guacamole with the grilled peaches is the best guacamole I have ever tasted, I will for sure be back!!
Fist off the servers were friendly and there’s a great atmosphere. But the food was a let down. This was $40! I was hoping for a little more than one tiny soggy piece of fish . I’ve had better at fast food spots for 10 bucks .
Alma Cocina Buckhead on Peachtree Road in Atlanta is a great place to go for delicious and flavorful Mexican food. I really like the atmosphere and vibe that they have created here. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need. Great experience every time here.
Food was ok. Not something I’d go back for. Drinks were delicious. Try the infused ice cubes. I tried the Roasted Chicken Mole. The taste was weird. Couldn’t finish it.
The location deserves 5 ⭐. The service was good but the quality of the food was just average. Very pricey for just average. Atlanta is so competitive in the restaurant business and here they have invested accordingly for success.
While the decor was beautiful, I can’t say the same thing about the food. Both I and my friend’s food looked somewhat nice but lacked in taste with very little seasoning. Unfortunately I don’t see myself coming back.
