The food was great!!!!!! It was the workers attitudes for me all of them HAD NASTY ATTITUDES????? I'm usually a tipper at restaurants like this but that night I thought I WILL NOT!!!!!!!! THE FOOD WAS GOOD!!!!! THEY NEED TO WORK ON THEY ATTITUDES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. ??????LET'S NOT FORGET THE FOOD WAS GREAT ?

So I always try to see who's going to beat busybee food and I came here the line was long I said ok everything looked fresh when I ordered I got the oxtails my sides Mac and cheese with cabbage also got a lemonade. I didn't waste no time because I really wanted to see if they was good and eh it was average the oxtails had no flavor like it just taste like meat boiled in water I added salt and pepper with hot sauce to give it something. My sides Not bad it was season I had a corn bread but I didn't eat it also so much fat on them oxtails for the price I was expecting a more wild factor. They may have did better with other meats so I might try them again. That lemonade was good as well. AND PLEASE HAVE YOUR MASK ThEy will not serve you.
I drove all the way from Lithonia to experience this restaurant me and my friends. When we arrive the restaurant was clean and it had a little line but the line moves very fast. When we got up to the window to order our food the woman that was fixing the food was very friendly and patient once we explain this was our first time eating there. My friend asked her with the meal you get rice and two side. She asked can she substitute one of her sides for peach cobbler? Or is that just considered a dessert. The woman stated peach cobbler can be a side so we proceed to make our plates. Once we got to the cash register the lady at the cash register said no you cannot have peach cobbler as a side it is a desert. My friend begin to explain to her that she asked the worker before she proceeded with her order so can she have it as a side? She stated no and proceeded to say if you don’t want the food I can go to the next customer she remove the food off the counter and proceeded to the next customer. I was just amazed at the rudness And poor customer service that we were receiving at the register. I proceeded to pay for my food and also my friends food so that we can experience the food because that’s what we came for. The food was great it was season well but if theyDo not work on their customer service they will lose a lot of customers. That is why they have a two star instead of a four star

This place is not it. Like it use to be good but now it has really gone down the drain. Instead of coming here I should have just followed my first mind and went to something special on jonesboro Road. The food tastes way better and you don’t have to deal with a nasty attitude….. not to mention their health inspection score is higher
Good soul food cooking. The servers are nice. It's hot there but that maybe partly due to the steamers.
